أصدرت اللجنة العليا لتحقيق الجنسية الكويتية، قراراً بسحب الجنسية الكويتية من الفنان أحمد إيراج التي اكتسبها بالتبعية لوالده.
وقررت اللجنة سحب الجنسية الكويتية من 20 شخصاً وممن اكتسبها معهم بالتبعية.
ويعد الفنان أحمد إيراج أحد الوجوه البارزة في الدراما والمسرح الخليجي، وزوج الإعلامية والممثلة زينة كرم، وولد إيراج 1979 في مدينة الفحيحيل جنوب الكويت، لعائلة من أصول إيرانية، وفي 2007 تم تجنيس والده بالتبعية لوالدته الكويتية (أي جدة أحمد)، وفي 2011 حصل أحمد على الجنسية الكويتية بصفته «ابن كويتية».

Artist Ahmed Irag is considered one of the prominent faces in Gulf drama and theater, and he is the husband of media personality and actress Zeina Karam. Irag was born in 1979 in the city of Al-Fahaheel, south of Kuwait, to a family of Iranian origins. In 2007, his father was granted nationality by descent from his Kuwaiti mother (i.e., Ahmed's grandmother), and in 2011, Ahmed obtained Kuwaiti nationality as the "son of a Kuwaiti."
