عقد وزير النقل المصري الفريق كامل الوزيراجتماعاً موسعاً مع رؤساء الهيئات والشركات التابعة للوزارة، بحضور نواب ومساعدي الوزير، لاستعراض آلية العمل تحت شعار تخفيض النفقات وتعظيم الإيرادات إلى أقصى حد، وركز الاجتماع على خطة الوزارة لتشجيع المواطنين على استخدام وسائل النقل الجماعي بدلاً من السيارات الخاصة.
وفي هذا الصدد وجه الوزير شركات نقل الركاب التابعة للوزارة باستبدال الأوتوبيسات ذات نسب الإشغال المنخفضة التي تقل عن 50% بميني باص حديث يقدم أعلى مستويات الخدمة، بما يسهم في تخفيض استهلاك الوقود وخفض تكلفة التشغيل، مع الالتزام بتنفيذ قرارات مجلس الوزراء بشأن ترشيد الإنفاق العام وتحقيق الاستخدام الأمثل للموارد بما يدعم الاقتصاد القومي.
The Egyptian Minister of Transport, Lieutenant General Kamel El-Wazir, held an extensive meeting with the heads of the authorities and companies affiliated with the ministry, in the presence of the deputies and assistants to the minister, to review the working mechanism under the slogan of reducing expenses and maximizing revenues to the fullest extent. The meeting focused on the ministry's plan to encourage citizens to use public transportation instead of private cars.
In this regard, the minister directed the passenger transport companies affiliated with the ministry to replace buses with low occupancy rates of less than 50% with modern minibuses that provide the highest levels of service, which contributes to reducing fuel consumption and lowering operating costs, while adhering to the implementation of the Cabinet's decisions regarding rationalizing public spending and achieving optimal use of resources to support the national economy.
