When the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz - may God protect him - issued his gracious order on January 27, 2022, declaring February 22 of each year as a day to commemorate the founding of the Saudi state, named "Founding Day" for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, it was to celebrate this important date in the establishment of the Saudi state, which began three centuries ago under the leadership of Imam Muhammad bin Saud - may God have mercy on him. This day corresponds to the 30th of Jumada al-Awwal in the year 1139 AH.

Founding Day of the blessed Saudi state will remain an annual source of pride for every citizen living on its soil, who takes pride in its rich history and values its leaders and their sacrifices, embodying the loyalty deeply rooted in this generous country. Founding Day represents the gateway from which the light of our bright dawn emerged and continues to shine under our wise leadership - may God support them - who carry the concerns of their homeland and its people, working diligently and with determination to elevate our beloved nation to the ranks of advanced countries with steadfast founding values.

The anniversary of Saudi Founding Day is a source of pride and honor for every citizen living on its land and enjoying its blessings.
