ليس الجوار الجغرافي مجرّد تماسٍّ حدودي، بل علاقة تاريخ ومسؤولية ومصير مشترك. وحين تضطرب البوصلة في لحظة سياسية حسّاسة، يصبح العقل واجباً أخلاقياً، لا خياراً نظرياً.
حماية الاستقرار ومنع الانزلاق
وفي المسار الذي يجمع اليمن بالمملكة العربية السعودية، لا مجال للخطأ العاطفي؛ لأن كلفة الاندفاع لا تُدفع شعارات، بل تُدفع أمناً ومعيشةً واستقراراً.
إنّ ما يجري اليوم من تحركات غير منضبطة في حضرموت والمهرة لا يمكن قراءته خارج هذا السياق. فالمملكة، بحكم موقعها ودورها، لا تتحرّك بدافع الهيمنة ولا بدافع الوصاية، بل من منطلق حماية الاستقرار ومنع انزلاق الجغرافيا اليمنية إلى فوضى إضافية، تُضاف إلى سجلٍ مثقل أصلاً بالانقسامات والحروب.

المشهد اليمني، للأسف، ما زال عرضة لانفعالات سياسية تتغذّى على العاطفة أكثر مما تستند إلى قراءة متأنية للواقع. حبٌّ مفرط يتحوّل إلى تهوّر، وغضبٌ غير محسوب ينتهي بخسارة لا يعترف بها أحد. غير أنّ السياسة، كما الفلسفة، لا تُدار بمنطق النوايا، بل بمنطق النتائج. والمملكة، في موقفها الأخير، تنطلق من هذا المنطق تحديداً منع النتائج الكارثية قبل وقوعها.
كبح الانهيار الشامل
الحقيقة التي لا يجوز القفز عليها، أنّ شريان الحياة اليومي لملايين اليمنيين يرتبط ارتباطاً مباشراً بالمملكة. ليس ذلك منّةً ولا ادّعاء فضل، بل واقع اقتصادي واجتماعي وإنساني. من تحويلات المغتربين، إلى المساعدات، إلى الدور السياسي في كبح الانهيار الشامل، ومن العبث السياسي أن يُغامَر بكل هذا الرصيد في مغامرات شعاراتية لا تحسب حساب الغد.
وعندما نتحدّث عن المملكة العربية السعودية كدولة كبرى، فإننا لا نتحدّث عن قوّة مجردة، بل عن ثقلٍ سياسي يُفترض أن يُستشار لا أن يُستفز، ويُفهم لا أن يُختبر، فالكبار في السياسة لا يُدارون بالتصعيد، بل بالحوار، ولا تُفرض عليهم الوقائع، بل تُبنى معهم التفاهمات.
ليس في موقف المملكة عداء لأي مكوّن يمني، ولا رفض لطموحات مشروعة، لكنّ السياسة العاقلة تفرّق بين الحق في الطموح، والخطأ في التوقيت، والخطر في الأسلوب، وحضرموت والمهرة ليستا ساحتي اختبار قوة، بل صمّام أمان لليمن والمنطقة، وأي عبث بأمنهما هو عبث بالجميع.

رفض المملكة للتحركات المنفلتة
الخلاف، نعم، حقٌّ سياسي، لكن تحويله إلى استعراض في الشارع أو فرض أمر واقع بالقوة هو انزلاقٌ لا يخدم أحداً، لقد علّمتنا تجارب قريبة، منذ 2011، أن الميادين حين تنفصل عن الرؤية، تتحوّل من أداة ضغط إلى بوابة فوضى، والمملكة، وهي ترى المشهد من زاوية أوسع، تدرك أن ما يبدو مكسباً لحظةً قد يكون خسارة وطن لعقود.
اليمن، شماله وجنوبه، ليس جسداً قابلاً للتجريب المتكرر، هو كيان هشّ، يحتاج إلى ترميم لا إلى كسر جديد، ومن هنا فإن دعم المملكة لوحدة الموقف الأمني، ورفضها لأي تحركات منفلتة خارج التوافق، ليس انحيازاً ضد أحد، بل انحياز لصالح الدولة، وضد منطق المليشيا، أيّاً كان اسمها أو شعاراتها.
إنّ الحكمة السياسية اليوم تقتضي الوقوف بوضوح مع كل موقف يمنع الانفجار، ويقدّم العقل على الانفعال، والدولة على الجماعة، والمستقبل على اللحظة والمملكة في هذا الموقف تمارس دورها الطبيعي كونها دولة مسؤولة عن أمنها وأمن جوارها، وليست طرفاً في صراع داخلي.
وفي لحظات الاختبار، لا يُقاس القادة بحدّة خطاباتهم، بل بقدرتهم على التراجع خطوة حين يكون التقدّم مدمّراً.
والحكمة اليوم، بكل وضوح، تقف مع استقرار حضرموت والمهرة، ومع موقف المملكة العربية السعودية، ومع إنقاذ اليمن من مغامرة جديدة لا يحتملها.
Geographical proximity is not merely a border contact, but a relationship of history, responsibility, and shared destiny. When the compass wavers in a sensitive political moment, reason becomes a moral obligation, not a theoretical choice.
Protecting stability and preventing slippage
In the path that connects Yemen with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, there is no room for emotional mistakes; because the cost of impulsiveness is not paid in slogans, but in security, livelihood, and stability.
The current unrestrained movements in Hadhramaut and Al-Mahra cannot be understood outside this context. The Kingdom, by virtue of its position and role, does not act out of a desire for dominance or guardianship, but from the standpoint of protecting stability and preventing the Yemeni geography from slipping into additional chaos, which would add to a record already burdened with divisions and wars.

Unfortunately, the Yemeni scene is still susceptible to political emotions that feed on sentiment more than they rely on a careful reading of reality. Excessive love turns into recklessness, and uncalculated anger ends in a loss that no one acknowledges. However, politics, like philosophy, is not managed by the logic of intentions, but by the logic of results. The Kingdom, in its recent position, is precisely based on this logic: preventing catastrophic outcomes before they occur.
Containing the complete collapse
The undeniable truth is that the daily lifeline for millions of Yemenis is directly linked to the Kingdom. This is not a favor or a claim to merit, but an economic, social, and humanitarian reality. From remittances of expatriates, to aid, to the political role in containing the complete collapse, it is politically absurd to gamble all this capital in slogan-driven adventures that do not account for tomorrow.
When we talk about the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as a major state, we are not talking about an abstract power, but about a political weight that should be consulted, not provoked, understood, not tested. The great powers in politics are not managed by escalation, but by dialogue, and realities are not imposed on them, but understandings are built with them.
There is no animosity in the Kingdom's position towards any Yemeni component, nor a rejection of legitimate aspirations, but wise politics distinguishes between the right to aspire, the mistake in timing, and the danger in method. Hadhramaut and Al-Mahra are not arenas for testing strength, but safety valves for Yemen and the region, and any tampering with their security is tampering with everyone's security.

The Kingdom's rejection of unrestrained movements
Disagreement, yes, is a political right, but turning it into a street demonstration or imposing a fait accompli by force is a slippage that serves no one. Recent experiences since 2011 have taught us that when squares detach from vision, they transform from a pressure tool into a gateway to chaos. The Kingdom, viewing the scene from a broader perspective, realizes that what seems like a gain at one moment could be a loss for the nation for decades.
Yemen, both North and South, is not a body that can be subjected to repeated experiments; it is a fragile entity that needs restoration, not new breaks. Therefore, the Kingdom's support for a unified security stance and its rejection of any unrestrained movements outside of consensus is not a bias against anyone, but a bias in favor of the state and against the logic of militias, whatever their name or slogans.
Political wisdom today requires standing clearly with any position that prevents explosion, prioritizes reason over emotion, the state over the group, and the future over the moment. The Kingdom, in this position, is fulfilling its natural role as a responsible state for its security and the security of its neighbors, and is not a party in an internal conflict.
In moments of testing, leaders are not measured by the sharpness of their speeches, but by their ability to step back when progress is destructive.
And wisdom today, clearly, stands with the stability of Hadhramaut and Al-Mahra, with the position of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and with saving Yemen from a new adventure that it cannot afford.
