One of the officials made a provocative statement in a media interview that reflects a narrow perspective unworthy of her position, saying: "Those who stumble should leave," referring to the pharmacists from our nation.
When any official in a leadership position loses the language of dialogue and its etiquette, they lose the value of their position, their credentials, and their status. An arrogant or condescending discourse does not elevate the institution; rather, it tarnishes its image in front of the community.
To that official who made her statement irresponsibly, we say: when dialogue "stumbles," the institution must be held accountable, and it should be addressed internally before it negatively impacts our sons and daughters, who are innocent except for working diligently under clear work regulations and a foundation of professional fairness.
I say this on behalf of every fair-minded person: today we are faced with true national competencies recognized for their knowledge, which we take pride in. They learn diligently, work sincerely, and develop daily. Those who "stumble" among them learn, and those who falter rise to continue their path. This is the nature of learning and professional development, and it is the institution's responsibility to embrace its members and guide them, not to exclude them with a fleeting word.
