In an era where transformations accelerate and positions multiply, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia remains steadfast on an issue that has never faded from its conscience (the Palestinian cause). Since its establishment, our country has been present in the scene, standing in the front row, carrying the stance with its political weight, and supporting it with a firm morality and unwavering humanity, bearing the banner of fairness and justice for a people still searching for their right in their land and dignity.
The Kingdom believes that the Palestinian cause is not merely a political dispute, but a humanitarian pain and an inherent right that does not fade with the passage of time. From this conviction, it has embarked on movements at various levels, from politics to diplomacy, from moral calls to action in international forums, as clearly demonstrated in the high-level international conference at the United Nations, which witnessed broad Saudi and French participation to push towards a two-state solution by establishing an independent Palestinian state on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.
The vision of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman is evident in this balanced stance; he affirmed in the annual royal speech that there will be no relations with Israel without the establishment of a Palestinian state. These are not mere passing words but a policy practiced on the ground from Jeddah to Algiers, from the Arab League to every regional and international platform.
The rapid transformations in the region have not deterred the Kingdom from its position but have rather increased its determination. It continues to remind of the Arab Peace Initiative launched at the Beirut Summit (2002) as the sole key to stability. With the escalation of Israeli aggression on Gaza and the intensification of settlement in the West Bank and the Judaization of Jerusalem, Saudi Arabia has been a moral voice urging the world to bear its responsibility and to restore the balance of justice to its rightful place.
Today, the Kingdom does not just raise the banner of peace; it calls for justice and advocates for a world where the children of Palestine see the sky without fear, the land without barbed wire, and the future without closed crossings. It does not seek political glory but rather a human right that must not be taken away.
From here, this Saudi role is not narrated for pride but because it is the truth. When the compass is truth, leadership becomes an honor, and the stance becomes a message. Saudi Arabia, as we have always known it, does not compromise on its principles; it stands where it must stand—with Palestine.
