ليس لي علاقة باستقالة المسحل، وإن كنت على دراية بأن الكثيرين كانوا يطالبونه بالاستقالة من وقت مبكر، وهؤلاء المطالبون غطوا على السبب الرئيس لما يحدث لمنتخبنا في وضعه المتردي من سنوات، ورغم أنني من المتابعين (على خفيف)، كنت قد أشرت في تغريدة قديمة إلى أن ما يحدث من استقطاب اللاعبين العالميين الذين أصبحوا يمثلون ثلاثة أرباع اللاعبين في الدوري، وتنحية اللاعب السعودي، وإبقائه على الرف، ومن أجل كسر العين يلعب لاعب أو لاعبين والبقية في الاحتياط، وقلت (قديماً): إن استقطاب اللاعب الأجنبي (بهذه الكثافة) سيكون له ضرر فادح على المنتخب الوطني، وهذا ما يحدث الآن. المنتخب يعاني من ندرة عالية في المواهب القادرة على إنجاز مهمة الفوز.
حسناً لدينا منتخب، لكنه عبارة عن تجميع للاعبين الذين يحتلون كراسي الاحتياط، وليس بينهم لاعب موهوب يستطيع تغيير النتيجة، ولكي لا يكون هذا القول متحاملاً، أطالب بذكر لاعب واحد أظهر مقدرة على تغيير نتيجة في جميع مباريات الدوري، وإذا كانت أندية دول العالم تستقطب لاعبين أجانب، فهذه الدول لديها لاعبون يلعبون في مسابقات الدوري في جميع الدول الأخرى، وحين يلعب منتخب أي دولة في منافسات عالمية يتم استقطاب لاعبيه ليلعبوا لبلادهم.
باختصار، ليكن من يكون المرشح لرئاسة الاتحاد السعودي، فلن يحل تردي نتائج المنتخب، فالرئيس إداري وليس مهاجماً قادراً على تغيير النتيجة.
لن أقول فكروا خارج الصندوق، بل أقول فكروا داخل الصندوق، فخارجه ليس لدينا لاعبون حقيقيون، وإنما أصبحوا موظفين يتقاضون رواتبهم، ولتكن النتائج تمثّل (الفشيلة) أو ترديد (هارد لك).. حقيقة تعبت ظهورنا من شيل (هارد لك).
I have no connection to the resignation of Al-Mashal, although I am aware that many have been calling for his resignation from early on. These demands have overshadowed the main reason for what is happening to our national team in its deteriorating state over the years. Although I am a casual follower, I had pointed out in an old tweet that what is happening with the recruitment of international players, who now make up three-quarters of the players in the league, has sidelined the Saudi player, keeping him on the bench. To break the monotony, one or two players might play while the rest sit on the bench. I mentioned (a long time ago) that the recruitment of foreign players (at this density) would have a devastating impact on the national team, and that is what is happening now. The team is suffering from a severe shortage of talents capable of achieving victory.
We have a team, but it is merely a collection of players occupying the bench, with no talented player among them who can change the outcome. To avoid sounding biased, I challenge anyone to name a single player who has shown the ability to change the result in all league matches. If clubs around the world are recruiting foreign players, those countries have players who compete in league competitions in all other countries. When any country's team competes in international competitions, its players are recruited to play for their country.
In short, regardless of who is nominated for the presidency of the Saudi Football Federation, it will not solve the decline in the national team's results, as the president is an administrator, not an attacker capable of changing the outcome.
I won’t say think outside the box; rather, I say think inside the box, because outside of it, we do not have real players. They have become employees receiving their salaries, and let the results reflect (failure) or echo (hard luck)... The truth is, we are tired of hearing (hard luck).
