بدأ حساب «المرور» مدعوماً بحساب «وزارة الداخلية» على منصة X (تويتر)، نشر رسائل توعوية حول الأخطاء التي يرتكبها سائقو المركبات، وما يترتب عليها من تهديد للسلامة المرورية إضافةً إلى الغرامات المالية !
هذه الخطوة اللافتة، بما تميزت به من جودة وابتكار في المحتوى للوصول بالفكرة إلى المتلقي ببساطة وتحقيق الأثر المطلوب، تؤكد أن الهدف الأساس من الأنظمة المرورية هو حث السائقين على تفادي ارتكاب المخالفات، لا مجرد تسجيل الغرامات !
والقاعدة الأساسية في العلاقة بالقانون وممثليه، هي: لا ترتكب أي مخالفة أو جريمة، ولن يكون عليك أي مستمسك. وكما يقول المثل الشعبي: «لا تبوق لا تخاف»، وبالتالي لا ترتكب أي مخالفة مرورية، ولن يكون لأحد عندك ريال واحد !
وقبل عدة سنوات، حين زادت الشكوى من مخالفات «ساهر»، كتبت مقالاً أدعو فيه جميع السائقين إلى التضامن في حملة عامة لـ«تفليس ساهر» بعدم ارتكاب المخالفات والالتزام بأنظمة وقواعد السلامة المرورية، والحقيقة أن المسألة ليست تفليساً لساهر أو إغلاقاً لصنبور تحصيل الغرامات، بقدر ما هي حفاظ على أرواح البشر وسلامة أجسادهم !
ولعل أكثر الجهات فرحاً بإحصاءات تناقص الحوادث المرورية وأعداد الإصابات والوفيات الناتجة عنها هم رجال «المرور» أنفسهم، والجهات الرسمية التي تضع هدف السلامة فوق كل اعتبار، بينما ينظر المجتمع إلى من يقودون مركباتهم بتهور أو يتعمدون ارتكاب المخالفات كقطع الإشارات، والسير على أكتاف الطريق، وتجاوز السرعة النظامية، على أنهم خطر يهدد سلامة الأنفس والأحباب، ويحول طرقنا إلى مصائد للموت والإصابات !
ورغم أن الدولة فتحت أبواب التوبة لمرتكبي المخالفات الذين تراكمت عليهم الغرامات، ووضعت برامج تسوية مرنة، وأوجدت آليات سداد مخفضة، إلا أنني أرجو أن تتضمن ـ أمام عجز البعض عن السداد ـ عرض الإعفاء مقابل الالتزام بعدم ارتكاب المخالفات لمدة زمنية محددة وطويلة. ففي النهاية الهدف هو خلق وترسيخ ثقافة الالتزام بالقانون !
باختصار.. الحملات التوعوية الذكية واستغلال منصات التواصل الاجتماعي خطوة مهمة ومحمودة على طريق حفظ الأرواح وسلامة الأبدان !

This remarkable step, characterized by quality and innovation in content to convey the idea to the audience simply and achieve the desired impact, confirms that the primary goal of traffic regulations is to encourage drivers to avoid committing violations, not merely to record fines!
The basic rule in the relationship with the law and its representatives is: Do not commit any violation or crime, and you will have no liabilities. As the popular saying goes: "Do not steal, do not fear," and thus do not commit any traffic violations, and no one will have a single riyal from you!
Several years ago, when complaints about "Saher" violations increased, I wrote an article calling on all drivers to unite in a public campaign to "bankrupt Saher" by not committing violations and adhering to traffic safety regulations and rules. The truth is that the issue is not about bankrupting Saher or shutting off the tap for collecting fines, but rather about preserving human lives and ensuring their safety!
Perhaps the happiest entities with the statistics showing a decrease in traffic accidents and the number of injuries and fatalities resulting from them are the traffic officers themselves and the official bodies that prioritize safety above all else, while society views those who drive recklessly or deliberately commit violations, such as running red lights, driving on the shoulders of the road, and exceeding the speed limit, as a danger threatening the safety of lives and loved ones, turning our roads into traps for death and injuries!
Although the state has opened the doors of repentance for violators who have accumulated fines, established flexible settlement programs, and created reduced payment mechanisms, I hope that it will include—given some people's inability to pay—an offer of exemption in exchange for a commitment to not commit violations for a specified and extended period. In the end, the goal is to create and instill a culture of adherence to the law!
