Not all countries are capable of creating ideas, and not everyone who creates an idea can turn it into reality, but Saudi Arabia has excelled at both.
Here lies the problem... not for the Kingdom, but for those who cannot bear to see the Kingdom with such weight and brilliance.
There are those who choke at the mere sight of Saudi Arabia today as it is: a state that governs itself, making decisions from its own head, and its vision confidently moving along a clear path that does not look back. These people are not killed by wars or weapons; they are killed by "the idea."
The idea that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has a voice that is heard, a position that is taken seriously, and a role that makes a difference in the balances of the region and the world.
Saudi Arabia is no longer a country that "watches" the international scene; it has become one that shapes the scene, stirs stagnant waters, and builds a new map of power and influence.
In politics, it is the owner of the Arab Peace Initiative and the sponsor of major summits.
In security... a significant ally in combating terrorism, and a mediator that resolves conflicts and alleviates wounds.
In economics... a country betting on the future, from NEOM to green transformation, from investing in artificial intelligence to forming new equations in energy and technology.
These are not "cosmetic" roles to polish Saudi Arabia's image... but real tools for shaping international decision-making.
And here, precisely, begins the fit of anger among those who cannot tolerate that Riyadh is a formidable number that cannot be surpassed.
They write paid reports, conspire behind the curtain, mobilize their media and intelligence tools, hiding behind banners of "freedom," "justice," and "human rights," all just because the one who has adopted the issues of Arabs and Muslims is a Saudi with an unpurchasable weight, an unquenchable voice, and a decision that is not dictated to him.
The new idea about Saudi Arabia bothers them... that it is no longer an "oil station" but a "decision hub."
And that it does not buy loyalties, but imposes its respect, even on those who do not like it.
They are disturbed that the Kingdom does not need to shout... its mere presence is enough to unsettle equations and rearrange priorities.
In the Palestine file, they scream day and night that no one supports the cause.
And when Riyadh moves with a courageous decision and a real stance, not just words but actions, they begin to doubt and attack.
Why?
Because they realize that Saudi Arabia's success in this very file means exposing them.
Because what they have been selling for decades through bidding has been accomplished quietly and calmly in the name of Saudi Arabia.
They do not hate Saudi Arabia because it has made mistakes, but because they are unable to keep up with it when it succeeds; they are not bothered by what it says but by what it does; they do not fear its voice, but its impact.
Those who are killed by Saudi Arabia's influence today are not much different from those who hate the light because it reveals ugliness.
They want a "different Saudi Arabia," weak, shaky, subordinate, standing in line to gain the approval of this or that.
But today, Saudi Arabia is the one that satisfies itself only... and respects itself first, so others respect it by force, not by choice.
The reality has changed, the map has changed, and the compass now points to only one center... Riyadh.
Saudi Arabia today is not part of the scene... but it is the one that draws the scene.
And it is not a party in the equation; it is the equation itself.
