I do not claim that I love the national team more than the youngest Saudi fan, nor can I enter the phase of categorizing "this one loves and this one adores." We are all equal in our passion for the national team, but some of us love the national team and adore our favorite club, and this in no way undermines the equation of belonging.
I have taken you through this introduction devoid of "pretentiousness" to what I need to say amidst this noise, the noise of criticism and rejection. The goal is not to walk down the path of "contradict to be recognized," nor "with the horses, oh blonde," and this is a "rational" choice. I do not claim to be right; I may be wrong, and this may be determined by the acceptance or rejection of the audience.
First and foremost, we must agree that the playoff was not part of our calculations, at least as an audience. Now that it has become a reality, we should deal with it with a lot of rationality. I have not seen this rationality since our match with Australia, even though its result did not change anything. I speak here from a football perspective, not from the perspective of illusions built by their owners on "impossibility."
By impossibility, I mean winning by five glaring "white" goals.
The reaction to the loss took on dimensions among those who were expecting it, where the blood of tense phrases reached the knees, and the term is "metaphorical."
As for the victim of the evening and night programs, it was Salem Al-Dosari, due to his missed penalty, as if this penalty was what brought us to the playoff. In this discussion, I am neither defending the national team nor Salem, but rather diagnosing an unreasonable reaction, and I say unreasonable because the result did not change anything.
When I took a tour on the (X) platform, I found something worse than bad. The names differ, but the phrases are the same: mockery of the members of the federation, and attacks on everyone related to the federation. Even if a tweeter disagrees with them, like in my cases, they consider him part of a story that was arranged overnight.
Finally... the national team will qualify, and the days are between us.
