In every Hajj season, Mecca shines with its spiritual and organizational scene, and the Secretariat of the Holy Capital stands out as one of the most important pillars of this repeated success, thanks to its extensive field efforts and meticulous operational plans that touch on every detail of the pilgrim's life, starting from cleanliness and environmental sanitation, through infrastructure, and ending with the daily municipal services that make a difference in the experience of the pilgrims.

This year, the Secretariat has ramped up its preparations, enhancing its field presence with large human teams and advanced equipment covering the holy sites and Mecca, operating according to a precise system around the clock. The plan included supporting municipal centers with additional locations and service points, along with distributing equipment and machinery in vital locations to ensure immediate and effective responses.

In a scene that reflects a deep understanding of the needs of the guests of the Merciful, the Secretariat took direct supervision of the cleanliness of the slaughterhouses of the Kingdom's project for the benefit of the sacrificial offerings; aiming to facilitate the performance of the rites of sacrifice and expiation, and to provide a healthy and safe environment inside and around the slaughterhouses, supported by field teams, specialized equipment, and trained operational expertise.

The Secretariat also enhanced environmental sanitation efforts with a comprehensive survey of the spread of insects and rodents and water accumulation sites, accompanied by field spraying and periodic evaluation of the pesticides used, at a time when the Hajj season coincides with rising temperatures and increased temporary population density.

In terms of infrastructure, the Secretariat continued its efforts in operating and maintaining roads, tunnels, bridges, flood drainage networks, and the lighting network extending across the entire scope of Mecca and the holy sites, ensuring an urban environment ready to accommodate the guests of the Merciful safely and smoothly.

Among the notable steps this year is the expansion of the Random Slaughter Prevention Committee to cover the entire Holy Capital, with the participation of several concerned entities, in a move aimed at organizing slaughter operations and limiting irregular practices that affect public health and the urban scene of the city.

Alongside its executive roles, the Secretariat of the Holy Capital places special importance on awareness, by implementing awareness-raising media campaigns targeting the guests of the Merciful in several languages, through visual, audio, and written media, to enhance awareness of municipal and health procedures, and to guide pilgrims towards the proper behaviors that ensure their safety and the safety of the environment around them.

What the Secretariat of the Holy Capital is doing is not merely the execution of municipal tasks, but rather a national model that reflects the integration of institutional work, a sense of the greatness of time and place, and a vivid embodiment of the state's profound interest in the Two Holy Mosques and the guests of the Merciful.

These efforts come under the generous patronage and continuous support of the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, Prince Mohammed bin Salman - may Allah protect them - who have made serving the pilgrims a national priority, directing the mobilization of all human and technical resources to ensure the success of the season. Thus, the Kingdom has become a global model to be emulated in crowd management, hospitality, and excellence in every season.
