بعد مشهد استعراضي تحول خلال ثوانٍ إلى كابوس قانوني، أنهت السلطات الأمنية بالكويت استهتار سائق متهور عرّض حياته وحياة المارة للخطر، عقب انتشاره في مقطع فيديو استعراضي تداوله رواد مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي.
لم تقف الواقعة عند حدود الضبط والتوقيف، بل انقلبت إلى رسالة حازمة من وزارة الداخلية الكويتية التي أصدرت قراراً فورياً بإحالة المتهم مباشرة إلى السجن المركزي، تمهيداً لمواجهة أحكام قضائية صارمة تصل إلى الحبس 3 سنوات وغرامة مالية تصل لـ1000 دينار.
لكن الضربة الأقسى في هذه القضية تمثلت في المصير الذي واجهته المركبة المستخدمة، إذ أعلنت الإدارة العامة للمرور في الكويت عن كبس السيارة بالكامل بعد استكمال كافة الإجراءات التشريعية، ومصادرتها رسمياً لصالح وزارة الداخلية.
ويأتي هذا الإجراء الصارم استناداً إلى المادة «33 مكرراً» من قانون المرور الكويتي، والتي تمنح القضاء ووزارة الداخلية الصلاحية الكاملة لمصادرة أي مركبة تُستخدم برعونة وتفريط يهدد أرواح المواطنين الكويتيين والممتلكات العامة.
وأكدت وزارة الداخلية الكويتية أن أجهزتها الأمنية والرقابية مستمرة في ملاحقة كافة التجاوزات الميدانية والإلكترونية، مشددة على أن الاستعراض بالسيارات والطيش على الطرقات لن يُقابَل إلا بالحزم الشديد، وتطبيق أقصى العقوبات القانونية لحماية سلامة مستخدمي الطريق.
After a stunt scene that turned into a legal nightmare within seconds, the security authorities in Kuwait ended the recklessness of a reckless driver who endangered his life and the lives of pedestrians, following the spread of a video clip showcasing his dangerous behavior that was circulated by social media users.
The incident did not stop at the arrest and detention; it escalated into a firm message from the Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior, which issued an immediate decision to refer the accused directly to the central prison, in preparation for facing strict judicial penalties that could reach up to 3 years in prison and a fine of up to 1000 dinars.
However, the harshest blow in this case was the fate that befell the vehicle used, as the General Traffic Department in Kuwait announced the complete confiscation of the car after completing all legislative procedures, officially seizing it in favor of the Ministry of Interior.
This strict measure comes in accordance with Article "33 bis" of the Kuwaiti Traffic Law, which grants the judiciary and the Ministry of Interior full authority to confiscate any vehicle used recklessly and irresponsibly, threatening the lives of Kuwaiti citizens and public property.
The Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior confirmed that its security and regulatory agencies are continuing to pursue all field and electronic violations, emphasizing that car stunts and reckless behavior on the roads will only be met with severe firmness and the application of the maximum legal penalties to protect the safety of road users.
