في فاجعة هزت الأوساط التونسية وأثارت موجة عارمة من الحزن والغضب، شهدت العاصمة تونس جريمة أسرية مأساوية، بعدما أقدم رجل في العقد الرابع من عمره على إنهاء حياة زوجته الحامل بتوأم، قبل أن يسير بقدميه إلى مركز الأمن ليعترف بفعلته النكراء.
وتعود التفاصيل إلى حي التحرير بالعاصمة، حيث اشتعلت خلافات حادة بين الزوجين واستمرت لعدة أيام، قبل أن تتطور في لحظة طيش إلى شجار عنيف، انتهى باعتداء الزوج على زوجته وخنقها حتى فارقت الحياة هي وجنينيها.
ولم يكد يمر وقت قصير على الجريمة، حتى تفاجأ عناصر الأمن بالمتهم يدخل مركز الشرطة مبلّغاً عن قتله لزوجته، لتتحرك الوحدات الأمنية فوراً وتلقي القبض عليه. وأذنت النيابة العامة بنقل جثمان الضحية إلى الطب الشرعي وفتح تحقيق عاجل لكشف الملابسات الكاملة وسط مطالبات شعبية غاضبة بتطبيق أشد العقوبات.

The details date back to the Al-Tahrir neighborhood in the capital, where intense disputes erupted between the couple and lasted for several days, before escalating in a moment of rage into a violent altercation, which ended with the husband assaulting his wife and strangling her until she and her unborn children lost their lives.
Not long after the crime, the police were surprised when the suspect entered the police station, reporting that he had killed his wife, prompting the security units to immediately act and arrest him. The public prosecutor ordered the transfer of the victim's body to forensic medicine and opened an urgent investigation to uncover the full circumstances amid angry public demands for the harshest penalties to be applied.
