كشف تسريب بيانات ضخم من داخل عملاق التكنولوجيا «مايكروسوفت» عن أرقام ورواتب خيالية يتقاضاها المهندسون والموظفون، مما أثار ذهول المتابعين، لكنه في الوقت ذاته فتح الباب أمام موجة غضب غير متوقعة واستياء واسع بين الموظفين أنفسهم داخل الشركة.
أظهرت البيانات المسرّبة، التي نشرها موقع «بيزنس إنسايدر»، تفاوت الأجور بحسب المستويات الوظيفية، حيث يتقاضى المهندس المبتدئ رواتب أساسية تتراوح بين 111,000 و155,500 دولار سنوياً، متجاوزة متوسط الأجور في الولايات المتحدة بكثير. بينما ترتفع هذه الأرقام للمستويات المتوسطة لتصل إلى 245 ألف دولار، وتبلغ لكبار المهندسين والمديرين نحو 280 ألف دولار سنوياً، إلى جانب مكافآت سنوية ضخمة تصل لـ 110 آلاف دولار.
ورغم هذه الأرقام التي تبدو خيالية للوهلة الأولى، عبر موظفون في منتدى «بلايند» التقني المخصص للمحادثات السرية عن شعورهم بـ«الخيانة» وقلة التقدير، مؤكدين أن التعويضات والمكافآت لا تتناسب مع ساعات العمل الشاقة والتضحية بحياتهم الشخصية حلّاً للمشكلات التقنية. لكن المفارقة أن هذا الاستياء واجهته نصائح ساخرة من موظفي شركات منافسة مثل «غوغل»، دعوهم فيها إلى الاستقالة فوراً والمغادرة للحصول على أجور مضاعفة وبيئة عمل أكثر توازناً!

Meanwhile, these figures rise for mid-level positions to reach $245,000, and for senior engineers and managers, it amounts to about $280,000 per year, along with huge annual bonuses reaching up to $110,000.
Despite these figures that seem unbelievable at first glance, employees in the "Blind" tech forum dedicated to confidential discussions expressed feelings of "betrayal" and a lack of appreciation, affirming that the compensation and bonuses do not match the long hours of hard work and the sacrifice of their personal lives to solve technical problems. Ironically, this discontent was met with sarcastic advice from employees of competing companies like "Google," who urged them to resign immediately and leave to secure double the pay and a more balanced work environment!
