لم تمر سوى 14 يومًا على الفاجعة التي هزت محافظة الإسماعيلية المصرية، حين أودت حادثة مروعة على طريق الدواويس بحياة 19 عاملًا وأصاب 28 آخرين، حتى عاد الطريق نفسه، اليوم الثلاثاء، ليشهد حادثة جديدة أسفرت عن إصابة 24 شخصًا، معظمهم من عمال اليومية الذين كانوا في طريقهم بحثًا عن لقمة العيش.
المشهد هذه المرة لم يكن أقل قسوة؛ سيارة ربع نقل محملة بعمال اصطدمت بسيارة (متوسطة الفئة) على طريق الدواويس بمركز القصاصين، لتتجدد معها المخاوف بشأن سلامة الطريق الذي بات حاضرًا بقوة في ذاكرة أهالي المنطقة خلال أيام قليلة.
24 مصابًا في الحادثة الجديدة
وبحسب المعلومات الأولية، كانت سيارة الربع نقل تقل عددًا من عمال اليومية من مدينة القصاصين، فيما كانت السيارة الصغيرة قادمة من مركز صان الحجر، قبل أن يقع التصادم بعدما قطعت سيارة الربع نقل الطريق أمام السيارة الصغيرة.
وأسفرت الحادثة عن إصابة 24 شخصًا؛ بينهم 22 من العمال واثنان من مستقلي السيارة الملاكي، بإصابات تراوحت بين الكدمات والسحجات والجروح والكسور.
وعلى الفور، دفعت هيئة الإسعاف المصرية بعشر سيارات إلى موقع الحادثة، حيث جرى تقديم الإسعافات الأولية للمصابين ونقل الحالات التي احتاجت إلى رعاية طبية إلى المستشفى.
ونُقل 17 مصابًا إلى مستشفى القصاصين التخصصي لإجراء الفحوصات وتلقي العلاج، بينما تلقى سبعة مصابين الإسعافات الأولية في موقع الحادثة، قبل أن يرفضوا النقل إلى المستشفى، مع استقرار حالتهم الصحية وفق المعلومات الأولية.
السائق فر من المكان
وقال أحد شهود العيان: إن سائق سيارة الربع نقل غادر موقع الحادثة عقب وقوع التصادم، مشيرًا إلى أن السيارة كانت تقل عمالًا من بينهم سيدات وأطفال. وأضاف أن سائق السيارة الصغيرة نُقل إلى مستشفى القصاصين التخصصي في حالة حرجة، فيما باشرت الأجهزة المعنية إجراءاتها للوقوف على ملابسات الحادثة وأسبابها.
الثلاثاء.. يومان من الألم
وتكتسب حادثة اليوم دلالة أكثر قسوة، بعدما وقع، في اليوم نفسه من الأسبوع، الذي شهد قبل أسبوعين واحدة من أكثر الحوادث دموية على طريق الدواويس؛ ففي الثلاثاء 11 أغسطس 2026، لقي 19 عاملًا مصرعهم وأصيب 28 آخرون في حادثة تصادم مروعة على وصلة الدواويس، أمام محطة كهرباء الشباب، التابعة لدائرة مركز القصاصين بمحافظة الإسماعيلية.
وفي أعقاب الحادثة الأولى، وجه الرئيس المصري عبدالفتاح السيسي بسرعة الوقوف على أسبابه واستكمال الإجراءات القانونية، إلى جانب توفير الرعاية الطبية للمصابين وصرف التعويضات للمصابين وأسر المتوفين.
وكشفت تحقيقات النيابة العامة لاحقًا أن انفجار الإطار الخلفي الأيمن لإحدى مركبتي نقل العمال تسبب في انحرافها إلى الاتجاه المقابل واصطدامها بالمركبة الأخرى.
وأسفرت الحادثة آنذاك عن وفاة 19 شخصًا وإصابة 28 آخرين، تراوحت أعمارهم بين 9 و50 عامًا؛ وفق ما أعلنته النيابة العامة المصرية.
طريق يحمل وجع العمال
وبين فاجعة أودت بحياة عشرات العمال وحادثة جديدة أصابت 24 شخصًا، يعود طريق الدواويس إلى الواجهة مجددًا، ويبقى القاسم المشترك بين الحادثين واحدًا: عمال خرجوا بحثًا عن (لقمة العيش)، فعاد بعضهم مصابًا، بينما لم يعد آخرون إلى أسرهم.
وتواصل الجهات المختصة في الإسماعيلية إجراءاتها القانونية للتحقيق في الحادث الجديد، والوقوف على أسبابه والمسؤوليات المرتبطة به.
Only 14 days have passed since the tragedy that shook the Egyptian governorate of Ismailia, when a horrific incident on the Dawawis road claimed the lives of 19 workers and injured 28 others. Today, the same road witnessed a new incident that resulted in the injury of 24 people, most of whom were daily laborers on their way in search of a livelihood.
This time, the scene was no less brutal; a pickup truck loaded with workers collided with a (medium-class) vehicle on the Dawawis road in the Qasasin center, renewing fears about the safety of the road that has become vividly present in the memories of the locals in just a few days.
24 Injured in the New Incident
According to initial information, the pickup truck was carrying a number of daily laborers from the city of Qasasin, while the small vehicle was coming from the San al-Hajar center, before the collision occurred when the pickup truck cut across the road in front of the small vehicle.
The incident resulted in the injury of 24 people; including 22 workers and two occupants of the private vehicle, with injuries ranging from bruises and abrasions to cuts and fractures.
Immediately, the Egyptian ambulance authority dispatched ten vehicles to the scene of the incident, where first aid was provided to the injured and those who needed medical care were transported to the hospital.
Seventeen injured individuals were taken to the Qasasin Specialized Hospital for examinations and treatment, while seven injured received first aid at the scene before refusing to be transported to the hospital, as their health conditions were stable according to initial information.
The Driver Fled the Scene
One eyewitness stated that the driver of the pickup truck left the scene of the accident after the collision, noting that the vehicle was carrying workers, including women and children. He added that the driver of the small vehicle was transported to the Qasasin Specialized Hospital in critical condition, while the relevant authorities began their procedures to investigate the circumstances and causes of the incident.
Tuesday... Two Days of Pain
The incident today carries a more brutal significance, as it occurred on the same day of the week that witnessed, two weeks ago, one of the deadliest accidents on the Dawawis road; on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, 19 workers lost their lives and 28 others were injured in a horrific collision on the Dawawis link, in front of the Youth Power Station, which is part of the Qasasin center in Ismailia governorate.
Following the first incident, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi directed that the causes be quickly investigated and legal procedures be completed, in addition to providing medical care for the injured and compensating the injured and the families of the deceased.
Subsequent investigations by the public prosecution revealed that the explosion of the right rear tire of one of the workers' transport vehicles caused it to veer into the opposite direction and collide with the other vehicle.
The incident at that time resulted in the death of 19 people and the injury of 28 others, whose ages ranged from 9 to 50 years; according to what was announced by the Egyptian public prosecution.
A Road that Carries the Pain of Workers
Between a tragedy that claimed the lives of dozens of workers and a new incident that injured 24 people, the Dawawis road comes back into focus, with the common denominator between the two incidents being: workers who set out in search of (a livelihood), some returned injured, while others did not return to their families.
The relevant authorities in Ismailia continue their legal procedures to investigate the new incident and determine its causes and the responsibilities associated with it.
