فتحت الشرطة الألمانية، اليوم (الأربعاء)، تحقيقاً بشأن جسم مشبوه عُثر عليه بالقرب من أحد مدارج مطار لايبزيغ/هاله، بعد حادثة أمنية وقعت خلال ساعات الليل وأدت إلى تعطيل مؤقت لحركة التشغيل في أحد أهم المطارات اللوجستية في البلاد.
وقال متحدث باسم الشرطة إن السلطات أغلقت المدرج الجنوبي للمطار، لإتاحة المجال أمام فرق متخصصة لفحص الجسم باستخدام تقنيات التخلص من المتفجرات، فيما تواصل التحقيقات لتحديد طبيعته.
وأضاف أن السلطات تحقق أيضاً في بلاغات تتحدث عن رصد جسم طائر مجهول قد يكون على صلة بالحادثة، دون الكشف عن مزيد من التفاصيل.
وتسببت الحادثة في تحويل مسار عدد من الطائرات، من بينها رحلة ركاب، خلال ساعات الليل، قبل أن تعود حركة الملاحة الجوية إلى طبيعتها صباح الأربعاء.
ويأتي هذا التطور في ظل تشديد الإجراءات الأمنية بالمطارات الألمانية، عقب سلسلة من حوادث تحليق طائرات مسيرة دون تصريح فوق مواقع حساسة، شملت منشآت عسكرية ومحطات للطاقة وموانئ بحرية وشركات متخصصة في الخدمات اللوجستية.
وكانت الشرطة الاتحادية الألمانية قد حذرت في وقت سابق من احتمال وقوف عملاء روس وراء بعض عمليات التحليق غير المصرح بها، بينما نفت موسكو أي صلة لها بهذه الحوادث.
The German police opened an investigation today (Wednesday) regarding a suspicious object found near one of the runways at Leipzig/Halle Airport, following a security incident that occurred during the night and temporarily disrupted operations at one of the country's most important logistics airports.
A police spokesperson stated that authorities closed the southern runway of the airport to allow specialized teams to examine the object using bomb disposal techniques, while investigations continue to determine its nature.
He added that authorities are also investigating reports of an unidentified flying object that may be related to the incident, without disclosing further details.
The incident caused the diversion of several flights, including a passenger flight, during the night, before air traffic returned to normal on Wednesday morning.
This development comes amid heightened security measures at German airports, following a series of incidents involving unauthorized drone flights over sensitive sites, including military facilities, power stations, seaports, and companies specializing in logistics services.
The German Federal Police had previously warned of the possibility that Russian agents were behind some of the unauthorized flights, while Moscow denied any connection to these incidents.
