تحولت ساعات العمل داخل أحد مصانع الملابس بمدينة العاشر من رمضان إلى مشهد من الدخان والاستنفار، بعدما اندلع حريق واسع أجبر فرق الطوارئ على التدخل السريع، فيما تعرض عشرات العمال للاختناق جراء تصاعد الأدخنة الكثيفة.
واندلع الحريق داخل مصنع للملابس الجاهزة بالمنطقة الصناعية الثالثة في مدينة العاشر من رمضان بمحافظة الشرقية، شمالي مصر، ما أسفر عن إصابة عشرات العمال بحالات اختناق، دون تسجيل أي وفيات.
وأعلنت السلطات المصرية أن قوات الحماية المدنية تحركت فور تلقي البلاغ، ودعمت جهود الإطفاء بـ12 سيارة إطفاء، بالتنسيق مع الأجهزة الأمنية وفرق الإسعاف، للسيطرة على النيران ومنع امتدادها إلى المصانع والمنشآت المجاورة.
وفرضت الأجهزة المختصة طوقاً أمنياً حول موقع الحريق، بينما واصلت فرق الإطفاء محاصرة ألسنة اللهب حتى تمكنت من السيطرة عليها، قبل تنفيذ عمليات التبريد اللازمة لضمان عدم تجدد الاشتعال.
وأكدت الجهات المعنية أن سرعة الاستجابة أسهمت في الحد من انتشار الحريق داخل المنطقة الصناعية، ومنعت وصول النيران إلى منشآت قريبة، ما قلل من حجم الخسائر المحتملة.
ومن جانبها، أوضحت مصادر طبية أن فرق الإسعاف تعاملت مع 38 حالة اختناق ناجمة عن استنشاق الأدخنة، ونُقل عدد من المصابين إلى مستشفى جامعة العاشر من رمضان لتلقي العلاج وإجراء الفحوصات الطبية، فيما تلقى آخرون الإسعافات الأولية في الموقع بعد استقرار حالتهم ورفضهم الانتقال إلى المستشفى.

The Egyptian authorities announced that the civil protection forces moved immediately upon receiving the report, supporting firefighting efforts with 12 fire trucks, in coordination with security agencies and ambulance teams, to control the flames and prevent them from spreading to neighboring factories and facilities.
The relevant authorities imposed a security cordon around the fire site, while firefighting teams continued to contain the flames until they managed to control them, before carrying out the necessary cooling operations to ensure that the fire did not reignite.
The concerned parties confirmed that the speed of response contributed to limiting the spread of the fire within the industrial area and prevented the flames from reaching nearby facilities, which reduced the potential losses.
For their part, medical sources clarified that ambulance teams dealt with 38 cases of suffocation resulting from smoke inhalation, and several injured individuals were transferred to the University Hospital of 10th of Ramadan for treatment and medical examinations, while others received first aid on-site after their condition stabilized and they refused to be transferred to the hospital.
