شهدت مدينة الغردقة المصرية (الأربعاء) حادثة بحرية بعدما اندلع حريق على متن مركب سياحي بالقرب من جزيرة الجفتون الصغير، قبل أن تنجح اللنشات والمراكب السياحية الموجودة في محيط الحادثة في إنقاذ جميع الركاب وأفراد الطاقم، دون تسجيل أي إصابات.
وبحسب شهود عيان، اندلع الحريق داخل مطبخ المركب، قبل أن تمتد ألسنة اللهب إلى أجزاء أخرى منه، الأمر الذي استدعى تدخلاً سريعاً من المراكب السياحية القريبة، التي سارعت إلى إخلاء جميع الركاب وأفراد الطاقم ونقلهم إلى مراكب أخرى في وقت قياسي، قبل أن تلتهم النيران المركب بالكامل.
وفور تلقي البلاغ، دفعت الجهات المختصة بوحدات الإنقاذ البحري إلى موقع الحادثة، إذ جرى التعامل مع الحريق واتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة لتأمين المنطقة ومنع امتداد النيران أو تعرض أي من الوحدات البحرية المجاورة للخطر، فيما بدأت الجهات المعنية التحقيق للوقوف على أسباب اندلاع الحريق وملابساته.
تعد الحادثة واحدة من الوقائع التي تؤكد أهمية سرعة الاستجابة والتنسيق بين الوحدات البحرية العاملة في مناطق الرحلات السياحية، وهو ما ساهم في إنقاذ جميع الموجودين على متن المركب وتجنب وقوع خسائر في الأرواح.
يُعد البحر الأحمر، لا سيما مدينة الغردقة وجزرها السياحية، من أبرز المقاصد العالمية لسياحة الغوص والرحلات البحرية، إذ تستقبل المنطقة آلاف السائحين سنوياً للاستمتاع بالشعاب المرجانية والأنشطة البحرية.

Upon receiving the report, the relevant authorities dispatched marine rescue units to the scene of the incident, where they dealt with the fire and took necessary measures to secure the area and prevent the flames from spreading or endangering any nearby marine units, while the concerned authorities began an investigation to determine the causes and circumstances of the fire.
This incident highlights the importance of rapid response and coordination among marine units operating in tourist areas, which contributed to the rescue of everyone on board the vessel and avoided loss of life.
