تعرضت طائرة ركاب تابعة لشركة «ستار سكاي» لعطل فني بعد 15 دقيقة من اقلاعها من مطار آدم عدي الدولي في مقديشو في طريقها إلى مدينة «غالكعيو»، مركز إقليم مدغ بوسط الصومال.
وفي التفاصيل حاول الطيار العودة إلى المطار للهبوط اضطراريا، ولكن أثناء المحاولة، انحرفت الطائرة عن المدرج وسقطت على شاطئ قرب المطار.
وأكد مسؤولو مطار مقديشو أن الطائرة كانت تقل 55 شخصا، بينهم ركاب وطاقمها، وأن الجميع نجوا من الحادث بعد وصول فرق الإنقاذ وتمكنها من إجلاء الركاب بسلام.

In detail, the pilot attempted to return to the airport for an emergency landing, but during the attempt, the plane veered off the runway and fell onto a beach near the airport.
Mogadishu airport officials confirmed that the plane was carrying 55 people, including passengers and crew, and that everyone survived the incident after rescue teams arrived and successfully evacuated the passengers safely.
