ضرب زلزال بلغت قوته 4.8 درجة على مقياس ريختر اليوم، بحر قزوين قبالة السواحل الأذربيجانية.
وأوضح مركز الخدمات الزلزالية التابع للأكاديمية الوطنية للعلوم في أذربيجان، أن الزلزال وقع صباح اليوم وكان مركزه على عمق 70 كيلومتراً.
يُذكر أن بحر قزوين يطل على 5 دول، هي: روسيا وإيران وأذربيجان وتركمانستان وكازاخستان، ويعاني بحر قزوين من تقلص مساحته باستمرار؛ بسبب التبخر وانخفاض كمية مياه الأنهار التي تصب فيه.
An earthquake measuring 4.8 on the Richter scale struck today in the Caspian Sea off the coast of Azerbaijan.
The Seismological Service Center of the National Academy of Sciences in Azerbaijan stated that the earthquake occurred this morning and its epicenter was at a depth of 70 kilometers.
It is worth noting that the Caspian Sea borders five countries: Russia, Iran, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, and Kazakhstan, and the Caspian Sea is continuously suffering from a reduction in its area due to evaporation and the decrease in the amount of river water flowing into it.
