أخلت جهات التحقيق في مصر، اليوم (الجمعة)، سبيل ماجدة الحشاش والدة الإعلامية الراحلة شيماء جمال، بعد توقيفها على خلفية تصريحات تلفزيونية مثيرة للجدل حول حيازة سلاح ناري وتهديدها باستخدامه، وجرى إطلاق سراحها بكفالة مالية قدرها 5 آلاف جنيه.
وكانت الأجهزة الأمنية قد ألقت القبض على ماجدة الحشاش (60 عاماً) بعد مداخلة تلفزيونية ادعت خلالها امتلاكها سلاحاً نارياً مرخّصاً منذ نحو 18 عاماً، وهدّدت باستخدامه ضد محامي قاتل ابنتها وصديقة لها.
وكشفت التحقيقات الأمنية أن المتهمة لها محل إقامة آخر بمنطقة إمبابة، ولديها سجل جنائي سابق يتضمن خمس قضايا متنوعة، منها السرقة والضرب وقضايا آداب عامة، إضافة إلى حكمين سابقين في قضايا إيصال أمانة.
وأكدت التحريات أنه لم يتم العثور على السلاح الذي ادعت حيازته، وجرى تحرير محضر بالواقعة وإخطار النيابة العامة لاستكمال التحقيقات.
وتعود جذور القضية إلى يونيو 2022، حين عُثر على جثمان المذيعة شيماء جمال مدفوناً داخل مزرعة جنوب الجيزة، بعد أن ارتكب الجريمة بحقها القاضي السابق أيمن حجاج، الذي كان مرتبطاً بها عرفياً، بمساعدة شريكه حسين الغرابلي، إثر خلافات حادة.
وكشفت التحقيقات عن تخطيط مسبق للقتل باستخدام العنف والخنق، مع محاولات لتشويه الجثمان، وتم تنفيذ حكم الإعدام على المتهمين في أغسطس الماضي، ما أنهى الفصل الأكثر دموية في هذه القضية التي هزّت الرأي العام المصري.
The investigative authorities in Egypt released Magda Al-Hashash, the mother of the late media figure Shaimaa Jamal, today (Friday), after detaining her over controversial television statements regarding the possession of a firearm and threats to use it. She was released on a bail of 5,000 Egyptian pounds.
The security forces had arrested Magda Al-Hashash (60 years old) following a television appearance in which she claimed to have owned a licensed firearm for about 18 years and threatened to use it against the lawyer of her daughter's killer and a friend.
Investigations revealed that the accused has another residence in the Imbaba area and has a prior criminal record that includes five various cases, including theft, assault, and public morals offenses, in addition to two previous sentences in cases of promissory notes.
The investigations confirmed that the weapon she claimed to possess was not found, and a report was filed regarding the incident, with the public prosecution notified to continue the investigations.
The roots of the case date back to June 2022, when the body of the broadcaster Shaimaa Jamal was found buried inside a farm south of Giza, after the crime was committed against her by the former judge Ayman Haggag, who had a customary relationship with her, with the assistance of his partner Hussein Al-Gharabli, following severe disputes.
The investigations revealed premeditated planning for the murder using violence and strangulation, along with attempts to mutilate the body. The death penalty was carried out on the accused in August last year, which ended the bloodiest chapter in this case that shook public opinion in Egypt.
