في حادثة صادمة شهدتها مدينة هاغن الألمانية، أعلنت الشرطة الألمانية أن طفلاً يبلغ 5 أعوام فقط تسبب في اندلاع حريق ضخم انتهى باحتراق سيارة جاره بالكامل، بعد أن أشعل لعبة نارية كانت والدته قد أهدتها له.
وقدّرت الشرطة الخسائر بنحو 30 ألف يورو، مؤكدة أن الأم (42 عاماً) شاركت طفلها تشغيل لعبة نارية من نوع «مشررة» داخل موقف سيارات سكني، ما تسبب في تطاير الشرارات إلى أوراق جافة أسفل إحدى السيارات.
وبلمح البصر، اشتعلت النار وانتشرت داخل المركبة التي احترقت بالكامل، بينما فشلت محاولات إخماد الحريق قبل وصول فرق الإطفاء، التي أنقذت بقية السيارات من مصير مماثل.
وتواجه الأم حالياً تهمة التسبب في حريق بالإهمال، وسط تحقيقات مستمرة لمعرفة ملابسات الواقعة وكيفية وصول الألعاب النارية إلى يد طفل صغير داخل منطقة سكنية.
In a shocking incident that took place in the German city of Hagen, the German police announced that a 5-year-old child caused a massive fire that resulted in the complete destruction of his neighbor's car after he ignited a firework that his mother had gifted him.
The police estimated the damages at around 30,000 euros, confirming that the mother (42 years old) allowed her child to operate a firework of the "mortar" type inside a residential parking lot, which caused sparks to fly onto dry leaves under one of the cars.
In the blink of an eye, the fire ignited and spread inside the vehicle, which was completely burned, while attempts to extinguish the fire failed before the arrival of firefighting teams, who saved the remaining cars from a similar fate.
The mother is currently facing charges of causing a fire through negligence, amid ongoing investigations to determine the circumstances of the incident and how the fireworks ended up in the hands of a small child in a residential area.
