في جريمة أثارت صدمة واسعة في الشارع التركي، عُثر في حي أورطاكوي في إسطنبول على جثة رضيع حديث الولادة داخل حاوية قمامة، في واقعة مروعة تكشفت تفاصيلها تدريجياً وسط حالة من الغضب الشعبي على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي.
وبدأت الحادثة عندما اكتشف عمال النظافة، خلال جولتهم الصباحية في شارع «تشيفيرمجي»، صندوقًا صغيرًا في إحدى الحاويات أمام مبنى مهجور، ليتبين لاحقًا أنه يحتوي على جثة طفل حديث الولادة. وعلى الفور، أُبلغت الشرطة التي وصلت إلى المكان برفقة فرق الإسعاف، وتم التأكد من وفاة الرضيع.
ووفقاً للتقارير الأولية، فقد عُثر على الحبل السري مقطوعاً حديثاً، إضافة إلى آثار حروق وجروح قطعية على جسد الطفل، ما رجّح فرضية تعرضه للعنف فور ولادته. ونُقلت الجثة إلى معهد الطب الشرعي لتحديد السبب الدقيق للوفاة.
وقادت تحقيقات الشرطة إلى تحديد هوية المشتبه بها، وهي سيدة تركية تبلغ من العمر 39 عاماً وتدعى «إي. أ»، أم لثلاثة أطفال آخرين. وقد تبين أنها وضعت الطفل في المنزل دون رعاية طبية، ثم لفته في صندوق وألقته داخل حاوية القمامة، قبل أن تغادر المكان إلى متجر قريب لمتابعة التسوق وكأن شيئاً لم يحدث.
وألقت الجهات الأمنية التركية القبض على الأم وبدأت باستجوابها، بينما يركز المحققون على أداة حادة يُعتقد أنها استُخدمت خلال الولادة وقد تكون تسببت في جروح قاتلة للرضيع.
ولا تزال السلطات بانتظار نتائج تقرير الطب الشرعي لتأكيد سبب الوفاة، في وقت تتوسع فيه التحقيقات لمعرفة ما إذا كانت هناك أطراف أخرى متورطة، وما هي الدوافع النفسية والاجتماعية الكامنة وراء الجريمة.
In a crime that has shocked the Turkish public, the body of a newborn baby was found in a trash container in the Ortaköy neighborhood of Istanbul, in a horrifying incident whose details have gradually emerged amid widespread public outrage on social media.
The incident began when cleaning workers discovered a small box in one of the containers during their morning rounds on "Çivirmeci" Street, which later turned out to contain the body of a newborn. The police were immediately notified and arrived at the scene along with ambulance teams, confirming the baby's death.
According to initial reports, the umbilical cord was found to be recently cut, in addition to signs of burns and lacerations on the baby's body, suggesting the possibility of violence immediately after birth. The body was transferred to the forensic institute to determine the exact cause of death.
Police investigations led to the identification of the suspect, a 39-year-old Turkish woman named "E. A," who is the mother of three other children. It was found that she gave birth to the baby at home without medical care, then wrapped it in a box and threw it in the trash container before leaving the scene to a nearby store to continue shopping as if nothing had happened.
The Turkish security forces arrested the mother and began interrogating her, while investigators are focusing on a sharp object believed to have been used during the birth, which may have caused fatal injuries to the newborn.
The authorities are still awaiting the results of the forensic report to confirm the cause of death, while investigations are expanding to determine if there are other parties involved and what the underlying psychological and social motivations for the crime may be.
