أوقفت شرطة ليفونيا، بولاية ميشيغان الأمريكية، سيارة مسروقة بطريقة غير تقليدية بعد مطاردة مثيرة على الطريق السريع، حيث أدى استخدام شبكة قوية إلى تمزيق محور العجلات الخلفية للسيارة.
وأظهرت لقطات من كاميرا السيارة الشرطية اللحظة الدقيقة التي حاول فيها السائق الفرار، ما تسبب في سقوط المحور وتعطيل السيارة بالكامل.
وجاء تدخل شرطة ليفونيا بناءً على طلب من شرطة ولاية ميشيغان، التي كانت تلاحق السيارة المسروقة يوم الخميس الماضي.
The Livonia Police in Michigan, USA, stopped a stolen car in an unconventional way after an exciting chase on the highway, where the use of a strong net tore apart the rear axle of the vehicle.
Footage from the police car's camera showed the exact moment the driver attempted to flee, causing the axle to fall and completely disable the car.
The intervention of the Livonia Police came at the request of the Michigan State Police, who were pursuing the stolen vehicle last Thursday.
