رحّب برنامج الربط الجوي بتسيير خطوط «لوفتهانزا» الألمانية لرحلاتها المباشرة من مدينة ميونخ إلى مدينة الرياض، بمعدل ثلاث رحلات أسبوعيًا اعتبارًا من 27 أكتوبر من العام الحالي، مما يسهم في تطوير المسارات الجوية وزيادة السعة المقعدية.
ويُعدُّ هذا المسار الجوي الجديد إضافة مهمة إلى الرحلات اليومية الحالية بين الرياض وفرانكفورت، إذ يوفر للسائحين خيارات أوسع للسفر من ألمانيا إلى المملكة.
ومن المقرر أن تُشغّل «لوفتهانزا» هذا الخط المُعاد إطلاقه باستخدام أحدث طائراتها، طراز (إيرباص A350-900) بسعة 293 مقعدًا موزعة على درجة الأعمال، والدرجة الممتازة، والدرجة الاقتصادية.
يُذكر أن برنامج الربط الجوي هو برنامج يستهدف زيادة النمو السياحي في المملكة، من خلال تعزيز الربط الجوي بين المملكة ودول العالم، عبر تطوير المسارات الجوية الحالية والمحتملة، وربط المملكة بوجهاتٍ جديدة عالمية، ويعمل برنامج الربط الجوي بصفته المُمكّن التنفيذي للإستراتيجية الوطنية للسياحة، وبرنامج الطيران، على تعزيز التعاون وبناء الشراكات بين الجهات الفاعلة الرئيسة في القطاعين العام والخاص في منظومتيّ السياحة والطيران، وذلك لتعزيز مكانة المملكة بصفتها وجهة سياحية رائدة عالميًا في مجال الربط الجوي السياحي.
The Air Connectivity Program welcomed the launch of German Lufthansa's direct flights from Munich to Riyadh, with an average of three flights per week starting from October 27 of this year, contributing to the development of air routes and increasing seat capacity.
This new air route is an important addition to the current daily flights between Riyadh and Frankfurt, as it provides tourists with broader options for traveling from Germany to the Kingdom.
Lufthansa is set to operate this relaunched route using its latest aircraft, the Airbus A350-900, which has a capacity of 293 seats distributed among business class, premium class, and economy class.
It is worth noting that the Air Connectivity Program aims to increase tourism growth in the Kingdom by enhancing air connectivity between the Kingdom and countries around the world, through the development of existing and potential air routes, and connecting the Kingdom to new global destinations. The Air Connectivity Program serves as the executive enabler of the National Tourism Strategy and the Aviation Program, working to enhance cooperation and build partnerships between key stakeholders in the public and private sectors in the tourism and aviation systems, in order to strengthen the Kingdom's position as a leading global tourist destination in the field of air connectivity.
