تعتزم شركة «آبل» إطلاق روبوت ذكي يعمل مساعدا افتراضيا بحلول عام 2027، في خطوة؛ تهدف إلى تقديم تجربة تفاعلية جديدة تتجاوز ما يقدمه آيفون أو آيباد حاليًا.
ووفقًا لوكالة «بلومبيرغ»، فإن الجهاز الجديد سيأخذ شكل روبوت مكتبي مزود بشاشة قياسها 7 إنشات، شبيهة بآيباد، قابلة للدوران والتمدد حتى 6 إنشات في جميع الاتجاهات، مما يتيح إعادة التموضع تلقائيًا لمواجهة المستخدم أثناء الحديث.
وينتظر أن يعمل الروبوت عبر نسخة متقدمة من المساعد الصوتي «سيري» مدعومة بتقنيات الذكاء الاصطناعي، وقادرة على حفظ المعلومات، وإجراء محادثات طبيعية، والمشاركة في النقاشات، مثل: اقتراح المطاعم، وتنظيم الرحلات، أو التخطيط للمهام اليومية، بشكل مشابه لتجربة المحادثة في منصة OpenAI.
كما سيدعم الجهاز مكالمات «فيس تايم FaceTime» بميزة شبيهة بخاصية البقاء في المنتصف «سنتر ستيج Center Stage» لمتابعة حركة الأشخاص في الغرفة، وإمكانية التحكم في موضع الشاشة. ورغم أن المشروع لا يزال في مرحلة النماذج الأولية، ولم يُتخذ قرار نهائي بشأن التصميم أو موعد الطرح، إلا أن «آبل» تستهدف إطلاقه بحلول عام 2027.
وفي موازاة ذلك، تطور «آبل» نموذجًا آخر لروبوت متحرك بعجلات وذراع آلية كبيرة مخصص للمهام الصناعية أو التجارية، في إطار توسيع نطاقها في تقنيات الروبوتات والذكاء الاصطناعي.
Apple intends to launch a smart robot that acts as a virtual assistant by 2027, in a move aimed at providing a new interactive experience that goes beyond what the iPhone or iPad currently offers.
According to Bloomberg, the new device will take the form of a desktop robot equipped with a 7-inch screen, similar to an iPad, which can rotate and extend up to 6 inches in all directions, allowing for automatic repositioning to face the user during conversations.
The robot is expected to operate through an advanced version of the voice assistant Siri, supported by artificial intelligence technologies, capable of retaining information, engaging in natural conversations, and participating in discussions, such as suggesting restaurants, organizing trips, or planning daily tasks, similar to the conversational experience on the OpenAI platform.
The device will also support FaceTime calls with a feature similar to Center Stage, which follows the movement of people in the room, and allows control over the screen's position. Although the project is still in the prototype stage, and no final decision has been made regarding the design or launch date, Apple aims to release it by 2027.
In parallel, Apple is developing another model of a wheeled robot with a large robotic arm dedicated to industrial or commercial tasks, as part of its expansion into robotics and artificial intelligence technologies.
