سقطت صباح اليوم (الثلاثاء) مروحية تابعة للقوات المسلحة الألمانية «البوندسفير» في مياه نهر مولده قرب مدينة غريما بولاية ساكسونيا، في حادثة ما زالت أسبابهة غير واضحة. وأكدت الشرطة أن المروحية اختفت عن شاشات المراقبة بين الساعة العاشرة والعاشرة والنصف صباحاً، قبل أن يعثر أحد هواة التجديف على حطامها عائماً في النهر عند الساعة الحادية عشرة والنصف، ما استدعى تدخل قوات الطوارئ.
وتواصل فرق الإنقاذ عمليات البحث عن الطيار المفقود وسط مخاوف من أن تكون التيارات القوية قد جرفته، في حين لم تُعرف بعد تفاصيل عن وجود ركاب آخرين. وتعمل أكثر من 50 فرقة إنقاذ من الشرطة والدفاع المدني والإطفاء في موقع الحادثة، بينما تسبب تسرب كميات كبيرة من الكيروسين في تعقيد الوصول إلى الحطام.
وأعلنت السلطات الألمانية أن المنطقة المحيطة بالسقوط منطقة عسكرية محظورة ومنعت التصوير، فيما أكدت وزارة الدفاع أن المروحية كانت في مهمة تدريبية روتينية، وأن لجنة تحقيق فنية ستبدأ عملها فور انتشال الحطام. الحادثة أثارت حالة من القلق والصدمة في ألمانيا، في وقت تتابع فيه وسائل الإعلام التطورات وسط غياب أي مؤشرات عن ارتباط الحادثة بمناورات عسكرية.
