تحولت فرحة زفاف إلى مأساة في محافظة أسيوط، جنوب القاهرة، مساء الثلاثاء، بعد وقوع حادث تصادم مروع على محور ديروط بين سيارة نقل ثقيل وسيارة ربع نقل وسيارة ملاكي ضمن موكب زفة عرس، ما أسفر عن مصرع 4 أشخاص وإصابة 15 آخرين بجروح متفاوتة.
وتلقت مديرية أمن أسيوط إخطارا من غرفة عمليات النجدة يفيد بوقوع الحادث، وانتقلت قوات الأمن وسيارات الإسعاف على الفور إلى موقع التصادم، وتبين من المعاينة الأولية أن سيارة نقل ثقيل فقدت السيطرة، ما أدى إلى اصطدامها بعدة سيارات مشاركة في حفل زفاف، بما في ذلك سيارة ملاكي كانت تقل عددا من المدعوين.
وعملت سيارات الإسعاف على نقل الجثث إلى مشرحة مستشفى ديروط المركزي، بينما أُحيل المصابون إلى مستشفى أسيوط الجامعي لتلقي العلاج، وسط جهود مكثفة لرفع آثار الحادث وتسيير الحركة المرورية.
وأثارت الواقعة موجة من الحزن في أسيوط، حيث تجمع أهالي المنطقة لمتابعة التطورات، فيما دعت السلطات إلى ضرورة الالتزام بقواعد المرور والحد من السرعة الزائدة على الطرق السريعة والفرعية.
وتشهد محافظة أسيوط، إحدى محافظات صعيد مصر، حوادث مرورية متكررة بسبب طبيعة الطرق الزراعية والفرعية الضيقة، إلى جانب السرعة الزائدة وسوء حالة بعض المركبات، ووفقا لتقرير الجهاز المركزي للتعبئة العامة والإحصاء لعام 2024، سجلت مصر حوالى 11500 حادث مروري، أسفرت عن وفاة أكثر من 5800 شخص وإصابة 37000 آخرين، مع كون الطرق السريعة والزراعية الأكثر عرضة لهذه الحوادث.
وتُعد أسيوط من المحافظات ذات النسب العالية في الحوادث المرورية، حيث سجلت خلال الفترة من يناير إلى يوليو 2025 أكثر من 120 حادثا، أدت إلى مصرع 60 شخصا وإصابة المئات.
The joy of a wedding turned into a tragedy in Asyut Governorate, south of Cairo, on Tuesday evening, after a horrific collision occurred on the Dairout axis between a heavy truck, a pickup truck, and a private car that were part of a wedding procession, resulting in the death of 4 people and injuring 15 others with varying degrees of injuries.
The Asyut Security Directorate received a notification from the operations room indicating that the accident had occurred, and security forces and ambulances immediately rushed to the scene of the collision. Initial investigations revealed that a heavy truck lost control, leading to its collision with several vehicles participating in the wedding celebration, including a private car carrying several guests.
Ambulances worked to transport the bodies to the morgue of Dairout Central Hospital, while the injured were referred to Asyut University Hospital for treatment, amid intensive efforts to clear the aftermath of the accident and facilitate traffic flow.
The incident sparked a wave of sadness in Asyut, where local residents gathered to follow the developments, while authorities called for the necessity of adhering to traffic rules and reducing speeding on highways and secondary roads.
