في واقعة غريبة هزت منطقة 15 مايو بمحافظة القاهرة، ألقت الأجهزة الأمنية القبض على امرأة تونسية الجنسية، بعد اكتشاف احتفاظها بجثة زوجها الطبيب المصري داخل شقتهما المستأجرة لمدة شهر، مغطاة بكميات كبيرة من الملح، في محاولة لإخفاء الوفاة خوفاً من ترحيلها بسبب إقامتها غير الشرعية في مصر.
بدأت القصة عندما تلقت الأجهزة الأمنية بقسم شرطة 15 مايو بلاغاً من الجيران بشأن رائحة كريهة تنبعث من إحدى الشقق السكنية. وعند تفتيش الشقة، عُثر على جثة رجل يبلغ من العمر 62 عاماً، وهو طبيب مصري متقاعد، وكانت الجثة ملفوفة بملاءة قماشية ومغطاة بكميات ضخمة من الملح.
وبجوار الجثة، وجدت الشرطة رسالة ورقية كتبتها الزوجة، تُدعى «مناء»، ذكرت فيها أن زوجها توفي وفاة طبيعية منذ حوالى شهر، وأنها لم تستطع إبلاغ السلطات خوفاً من كشف وضعها القانوني غير الشرعي.
وكشفت التحريات أن المرأة التونسية، التي دخلت مصر بطريقة غير قانونية، كانت متزوجة من الطبيب المتقاعد منذ عدة سنوات، وكانا يعيشان معاً في شقة بمنطقة 15 مايو. وبعد وفاة الزوج، قررت تغطية الجثة بالملح لمنع تحللها، على أمل إيجاد حل للوضع دون لفت الانتباه.
وألقت الشرطة القبض على المرأة التونسية، وتم تحرير محضر بالواقعة بتهمة إخفاء جثة. وبعد التحقيقات الأولية، قررت نيابة 15 مايو حبس المتهمة لمدة 15 يوماً على ذمة التحقيقات، قبل أن تُصدر النيابة العامة في حلوان، اليوم (الأحد) قراراً لاحقاً بإخلاء سبيلها بعد استكمال التحقيقات، مع استمرار النظر في وضع إقامتها.
وأكدت التحريات أن الوفاة كانت طبيعية ولا توجد شبهة جنائية في القضية. وأثارت الواقعة جدلاً واسعاً على منصات التواصل الاجتماعي، حيث عبر البعض عن تعاطفهم مع المرأة، معتبرين أنها تصرفت تحت ضغط الخوف من الترحيل، بينما اعتبر آخرون تصرفها غريباً وغير مقبول.
وأكد مصدر أمني أن التحقيقات ركزت على تحديد ملابسات الواقعة، وتم التأكد من أن الوفاة طبيعية بناءً على تقرير الطب الشرعي.

Next to the body, the police found a handwritten note from the wife, named "Muna," in which she stated that her husband had died of natural causes about a month ago, and that she could not inform the authorities for fear of exposing her illegal legal status.
Investigations revealed that the Tunisian woman, who had entered Egypt illegally, had been married to the retired doctor for several years, and they lived together in an apartment in the 15 May area. After her husband's death, she decided to cover the body with salt to prevent decomposition, hoping to find a solution to her situation without drawing attention.
The police arrested the Tunisian woman, and a report was filed regarding the incident on charges of concealing a body. After preliminary investigations, the 15 May prosecution decided to detain the accused for 15 days pending investigations, before the public prosecution in Helwan later issued a decision today (Sunday) to release her after completing the investigations, while continuing to review her residency status.
Investigations confirmed that the death was natural and there was no suspicion of criminal activity in the case. The incident sparked widespread debate on social media platforms, with some expressing sympathy for the woman, considering that she acted under the pressure of fear of deportation, while others deemed her actions strange and unacceptable.
