يخوض فريق السعودية لكرة القدم الشاطئية الأربعاء القادم مواجهة تحديد المركزين الثالث والرابع ضمن دورة الألعاب الآسيوية الشاطئية السادسة «سانيا 2026»، بعد أن أنهى مواجهة الدور نصف النهائي أمام المنتخب العُماني بخسارته بنتيجة 5-4.
وقدم أخضر الشاطئية مواجهة قوية في نصف النهائي، قبل أن يحسم المنتخب العُماني بطاقة التأهل للمباراة النهائية. ويواصل فريق السعودية حضوره في منافسات كرة القدم الشاطئية بالمنافسة على الميدالية البرونزية في ختام مشواره بالدورة.
ومن المقرر أن يلتقي أخضر الشاطئية في مباراة تحديد المركز الثالث نظيره الفلسطيني.
وفي منافسات المصارعة الشاطئية، يبدأ فريق السعودية غداً مشاركته في الدورة، ممثلاً بثلاثة لاعبين، وهم؛ عبداللطيف البكري في وزن 70 كجم، ومعاذ الراشدي في وزن 80 كجم، وريان محمد في وزن فوق 90 كجم.
وتُقام منافسات المصارعة الشاطئية على مدار يومي الثلاثاء والأربعاء، بمشاركة عدد من المنتخبات الآسيوية.
وعلى هامش الدورة، وقّع رئيس المجلس الأولمبي الآسيوي الشيخ جوعان بن حمد آل ثاني، إلى جانب رئيس اللجنة الأولمبية الفلبينية أبراهام تولينتينو، رسمياً اتفاقية استضافة النسخة السابعة من دورة الألعاب الآسيوية الشاطئية «سيبو 2028»، بمدينة سانيا الصينية، بحضور عدد من مسؤولي المجلس الأولمبي الآسيوي والجانب الفلبيني، تأكيداً لاستمرار مسيرة الألعاب الآسيوية الشاطئية وتعزيز حضورها في القارة الآسيوية.
The Saudi beach soccer team will face off next Wednesday in the match for the third and fourth places in the sixth Asian Beach Games "Sanya 2026," after finishing the semi-final match against the Omani team with a loss of 5-4.
The Green team put on a strong performance in the semi-finals before the Omani team secured their spot in the final match. The Saudi team continues to compete in beach soccer, vying for the bronze medal to conclude their journey in the tournament.
The Green team is set to meet the Palestinian team in the third-place match.
In beach wrestling competitions, the Saudi team will begin its participation in the tournament tomorrow, represented by three players: Abdul Latif Al-Bakri in the 70 kg weight category, Muath Al-Rashidi in the 80 kg weight category, and Ryan Mohammed in the over 90 kg weight category.
The beach wrestling competitions will take place over two days, Tuesday and Wednesday, with the participation of several Asian teams.
On the sidelines of the tournament, the President of the Olympic Council of Asia, Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani, along with the President of the Philippine Olympic Committee, Abraham Tolentino, officially signed an agreement to host the seventh edition of the Asian Beach Games "Cebu 2028" in the Chinese city of Sanya, in the presence of several officials from the Olympic Council of Asia and the Philippine side, confirming the continuation of the Asian Beach Games and enhancing its presence in the Asian continent.
