تخطى التعاون مضيفه الفيصلي برباعية نظيفة، في اللقاء الذي جمع بينهما على استاد مدينة المجمعة الرياضية ضمن لقاءات دور الـ32 من كأس خادم الحرمين الشريفين، ليتأهل التعاون لدور ثمن النهائي فيما غادر الفيصلي المسابقة.
وتناوب على إحراز أهداف التعاون سلطان مندش (هدفين د:4، 68) وموسى بارو (هدفين د:21، 89).
وشهد اللقاء سيطرة التعاون الذي بدأ بداية قوية بعد هجمة مثالية، إذ مرر أنجيلو فولجيني كرة لسلطان مندش الذي سيطر عليها وسددها قوية في المرمى هدفاً أول للتعاون (د:4)، واستمر التعاون في السيطرة ومن تمريرة متقنة من سلطان مندش انطلق موسى بارو بالكرة من منتصف ملعب الفيصلي وتلاعب بالمدافع ياسين برناوي والحارس محمد الحساوي وأسكن الكرة في الشباك هدفاً ثانياً للتعاون (د:21)، وفي الشوط الثاني واصل التعاون تألقه ومن هجمة مرتدة أرسل موسى بارو تمريرة طويلة لسلطان مندش الذي انفرد بالحارس الحساوي وسددها أرضية هدفاً شخصياً ثانياً له وثالثاً للتعاون (د:68)، وفي الدقائق الأخيرة من عمر المباراة مرر عبدالإله هوساوي كرة طويلة لموسى بارو ليواجه حارس الفيصلي ويتجاوزه ومن ثم أسكن الكرة في الشباك هدفاً شخصياً ثانياً له ورابعاً للتعاون (د:89)، لينتهي اللقاء بفوز التعاون بأربعة أهداف دون مقابل.
وبهذه النتيجة يتأهل التعاون لدور الـ16، فيما غادر الفيصلي المسابقة.

Al-Taawoun defeated Al-Faisaly with a clean four-goal victory in the match held at the Majmaah Sports City Stadium as part of the Round of 32 of the King Abdulaziz Cup, allowing Al-Taawoun to advance to the Round of 16 while Al-Faisaly exited the competition.
The goals for Al-Taawoun were scored by Sultan Mandash (two goals at minutes 4 and 68) and Musa Barrow (two goals at minutes 21 and 89).
The match witnessed Al-Taawoun's dominance, which started strong after an ideal attack. Angelo Folgini passed the ball to Sultan Mandash, who controlled it and struck it powerfully into the net, scoring the first goal for Al-Taawoun (minute 4). Al-Taawoun continued to dominate, and from a precise pass by Sultan Mandash, Musa Barrow took the ball from the midfield of Al-Faisaly, skillfully maneuvered past defender Yassin Barnawi and goalkeeper Mohammed Al-Hasaoui, and placed the ball into the net for the second goal for Al-Taawoun (minute 21).
