اختتم المنتخب الوطني تحت 19 عامًا اليوم (الثلاثاء) تدريباته في مدينة أبها، استعدادًا لمواجهة منتخب قطر غدًا (الأربعاء)، ضمن الجولة الثالثة من بطولة كأس الخليج للمنتخبات تحت 20 عامًا.
وأجرى لاعبو المنتخب حصتهم التدريبية على الملعب الرديف لمدينة الأمير سلطان بن عبدالعزيز الرياضية، تحت إشراف المدير الفني الإسباني سيرجيو بيرناس وجهازه الفني المساعد، وتركزت الحصة على الجوانب الفنية والتكتيكية.
ويواجه الأخضر نظيره القطري غدًا عند الساعة 4:30 مساءً بتوقيت السعودية، على ملعب مدينة الأمير سلطان بن عبدالعزيز الرياضية في أبها، لتحديد المتأهلين من المجموعة الأولى لدور نصف النهائي.
وقد استهل «الأخضر» مشواره في البطولة بالفوز على منتخب اليمن بهدف فارس بن سالم، قبل أن يتعادل مع منتخب الكويت بهدف لكل منهما، ليعتلي الأخضر صدارة المجموعة برصيد 4 نقاط، يليه المنتخب اليمني برصيد 3 نقاط،ومن ثم الكويتي بنقطتين، وأخيراً القطري بنقطة واحدة.
ويحتاج الأخضر في لقائه أمام المنتخب القطري للفوز أو التعادل للتأهل للنصف النهائي، فيما يلتقي المنتخب اليمني نظيره الكويتي، ويدخل اليمن اللقاء بفرصتي الفوز أو التعادل للتأهل، فيما يحتاج الكويت للفوز ولا غيره لعبور دور المجموعات.

The national team under 19 years old concluded its training today (Tuesday) in the city of Abha, in preparation for facing the Qatar national team tomorrow (Wednesday), as part of the third round of the Gulf Cup for under 20 national teams.
The players conducted their training session on the auxiliary pitch of Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Sports City, under the supervision of the Spanish head coach Sergio Bernas and his assistant coaching staff, focusing on technical and tactical aspects.
The Green team will face its Qatari counterpart tomorrow at 4:30 PM Saudi time, at the Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Sports City stadium in Abha, to determine the qualifiers from Group A for the semi-finals.
The "Green" started its journey in the tournament by defeating the Yemen national team with a goal from Fares bin Salem, before drawing with the Kuwait national team with one goal each, placing the Green at the top of the group with 4 points, followed by the Yemen team with 3 points, then Kuwait with 2 points, and finally Qatar with 1 point.
The Green team needs to win or draw in its match against the Qatari team to qualify for the semi-finals, while the Yemen national team will meet its Kuwaiti counterpart, entering the match with the chances of winning or drawing to qualify, while Kuwait needs to win and nothing else to advance from the group stage.
