Al-Hazm announced yesterday (Tuesday) the signing of Portuguese player Fábio Martins, coming from Al-Khaleej. This deal is part of the efforts of the Al-Hazm management in coordination with the technical staff to strengthen the first team in preparation for the upcoming challenges.

Fábio Martins officially announced his departure from Al-Khaleej after his contract with the club ended, and no agreement was reached to renew his contract. Fábio Martins posted on his account on "X": "Today marks the end of my journey with Al-Khaleej. I bid farewell to the club that honored me with the captaincy and allowed me to lead this team with pride, commitment, and a passionate heart."

It is worth mentioning that the 32-year-old Portuguese Fábio Martins excels in the winger position and has had numerous professional experiences. He has represented the Portugal national team at various youth levels, including under-16, under-17, under-18, under-19, under-20, and under-21. He was signed by Al-Shabab for the 2020-2021 season on loan from Sporting Braga for one season, before leading Al-Khaleej during the winter transfer window of 2022-2023 in a free transfer deal.
