بعد أربعة أيام من تتويجه بالميدالية الذهبية في سباق 800 متر سباحة حرة في اليوم الرابع للألعاب المائية وقطع المسافة بزمن 7:36.88 دقائق، توّج النجم التونسي أحمد الجوادي بثاني ميدالية ذهبية في سباق 1500 متر من بطولة العالم للسباحة المقامة حالياً في سنغافورة.
وحقق الجوادي المركز الأول بزمن قدره 00:01:34:41 بفارق ثانية و28 جزءاً من الثانية عن المركز الثاني الذي حققه المتسابق الفرنسي زفين شفارتس ليحصل على الميدالية الفضية، فيما جاء المركز الثالث للمتسابق الأمريكي بوبي فينك ليحصل على الميدالية البرونزية بفارق ثانيتين و19 جزءاً من الثانية.
ويعد البطل التونسي من السباحين الواعدين، إذ سبق له حصد الميدالية الذهبية لكأس العالم للسباحة 2024 في سباق 1500 متر، إلى جانب فوزه ببرونزية سباق 800 متر حرة في نفس البطولة.

After four days of being crowned with the gold medal in the 800-meter freestyle event on the fourth day of the aquatic games, completing the distance in a time of 7:36.88 minutes, the Tunisian star Ahmed El Gouadi won his second gold medal in the 1500-meter race at the World Swimming Championships currently taking place in Singapore.
El Gouadi secured first place with a time of 00:01:34:41, finishing 1.28 seconds ahead of the second-place French competitor, Zvin Schwartz, who took the silver medal, while the third place went to American swimmer Bobby Finke, who earned the bronze medal with a difference of 2.19 seconds.
The Tunisian champion is considered one of the promising swimmers, as he previously won the gold medal at the 2024 World Swimming Cup in the 1500-meter race, along with a bronze medal in the 800-meter freestyle at the same championship.
