كشف مصدر مسؤول في نادي الرياض لـ«عكاظ» أن الإدارة فتحت خط المفاوضات مع الجناح الفرنسي-الإيفواري تيدي أوكو، لاعب فريق لوزيرن السويسري، ضمن تحركات النادي لتعزيز صفوفه خلال فترة الانتقالات الصيفية الجارية.
وأكد المصدر أن النادي لم يتلقَّ حتى الآن أي مخاطبات رسمية من نادي الزمالك المصري، تفيد بوجود اتفاقية ملزمة مع اللاعب، مشدداً على أن المفاوضات تسير بشكل قانوني ومباشر مع أوكو ووكيله.
ويأتي هذا التصريح في ظل ما أوردته تقارير إعلامية مصرية عن دخول نادي الزمالك في نزاع تعاقدي مع اللاعب، بعد أن خضع أوكو لكشف طبي في القاهرة دون أن يُتم التوقيع الرسمي، قبل أن يتراجع عن الاتفاق ويتجه للتفاوض مع الرياض. ووفقاً لتلك التقارير، فإن نادي لوزيرن أبلغ اللاعب بعدم إتمام انتقاله لأي نادٍ آخر قبل تسوية وضعه القانوني مع الزمالك.

A responsible source at Al-Riyadh Club revealed to "Okaz" that the management has opened negotiations with the French-Ivorian winger Teddy Okou, a player for the Swiss team Luzern, as part of the club's efforts to strengthen its squad during the ongoing summer transfer period.
