غادر المنتخب السعودي لكرة اليد لفئة الناشئين إلى جمهورية مصر العربية لخوض المرحلة الأخيرة من برنامجه الإعدادي استعداداً للمشاركة في بطولة العالم، التي تستضيفها القاهرة في الفترة من 6 إلى 17 أغسطس 2025.
وكان المنتخب قد اختتم معسكره التدريبي في جمهورية سلوفينيا، الذي استمر 6 أيام، وركّز على رفع معدّل اللياقة البدنية وتعزيز الجوانب الفنية والتكتيكية تحت إشراف الجهاز الفني بقيادة المدرب جوليان رويز.
وسيخوض المنتخب خلال المرحلة الأخيرة من الإعداد، التي تمتد لـ11 يوماً في مصر، مواجهتين وديتين الأولى أمام المنتخب المصري في 28 يوليو، والثانية أمام المنتخب التونسي في 31 يوليو، بهدف اختبار الجاهزية قبل الدخول في أجواء المنافسة الدولية التي يشارك فيها المنتخب للمرة الثالثة في تاريخه.
وقد أسفرت قرعة بطولة العالم عن وقوع المنتخب السعودي ضمن المجموعة الرابعة (D) التي تضم منتخبات قوية ذات خبرة دولية، وهي البرازيل، آيسلندا، غينيا.
وتعد هذه المجموعة تحدياً حقيقياً لأخضر الناشئين، إذ تمثل مزيجاً من الأساليب الكروية المختلفة من أوروبا، وأمريكا الجنوبية، وأفريقيا.

The Saudi national handball team for the youth category has left for the Arab Republic of Egypt to undergo the final phase of its preparatory program in preparation for participating in the World Championship, which will be hosted in Cairo from August 6 to 17, 2025.
The team had concluded its training camp in the Republic of Slovenia, which lasted for 6 days, focusing on enhancing physical fitness and improving technical and tactical aspects under the supervision of the coaching staff led by coach Julian Ruiz.
During the final phase of preparation, which will last for 11 days in Egypt, the team will play two friendly matches, the first against the Egyptian team on July 28, and the second against the Tunisian team on July 31, with the aim of testing their readiness before entering the atmosphere of international competition, in which the team is participating for the third time in its history.
The draw for the World Championship placed the Saudi team in Group D, which includes strong teams with international experience, namely Brazil, Iceland, and Guinea.
This group represents a real challenge for the Green youth team, as it consists of a mix of different playing styles from Europe, South America, and Africa.
