أعلن الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم «FIFA» أن قائد منتخب الأرجنتين وفريق إنتر ميامي ليونيل ميسي أصبح الهداف التاريخي لبطولات «FIFA» بعدما رفع رصيده من الأهداف في جميع المسابقات التي أقيمت تحت راية الاتحاد الدولي إلى 25 هدفا، بعدما سجل هدف فوز إنتر ميامي على بورتو 2–1 في المباراة التي جمعتهما ضمن منافسات الجولة الثانية بالمجموعة الأولى في كأس العالم للأندية، ومنح هدف ميسي الفوز لصالح إنتر ميامي بعد أن أحرز الهدف الثاني للفريق الأمريكي الذي حقق انتصاره الأول في مونديال الأندية، وفق التقرير الذي نشره موقع «RT». وأوضح «FIFA» أن ميسي شارك في 10 بطولات تحت مظلة الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم، مشيرا إلى أن أفضل لاعب في العالم 8 مرات أحرز 25 هدفا على مدار 20 عاما من مشاركاته في بطولاته، وفاز ميسي أيضا بلقب كأس العالم للأندية 3 مرات مع برشلونة أعوام 2010 و2012 و2016.
يذكر أن فريق إنتر ميامي رفع رصيده إلى 4 نقاط ليتساوى مع بالميراس البرازيلي في صدارة المجموعة ويكفي الفريق الأمريكي التعادل في الجولة الثالثة أمام بالميراس لضمان التأهل إلى الدور الثاني في المركز الثاني على الأقل.
