استطاع الهلال أن يظفر بخدمات المهاجم الشاب عبدالكريم دارسي قادماً من الأهلي، بعد أن رفض في الفترة الماضية تجديد عقده مع الأهلي، حيث وصلت المفاوضات إلى طريق مسدود، نتيجة الاختلاف على بعض البنود الخاصة بالعقد.
وكان دارسي قد خطف الأنظار بعد ظهوره بمستوى كبير جذب اهتمام الرياضيين في الموقعة التي جمعت الهلال بالأهلي في بطولة كأس السوبر، وبعدها اختفى اللاعب عن المشاركة بعد الاختلاف في تجديد عقده مع الملكي، وكانت البداية الكروية لـ( دارسي) مع فريق الأهلي، واستمر مع الفريق في جميع فئاته السنية المُختلفة، وفي عام 2023 التحق بالفريق الأول وشارك لأول مرة مع الفريق الأول يوم 26 سبتمبر 2023، أمام العين السعودي، والتي انتهت بنتيجة (3-2) للأهلي في دور الـ 32 من مسابقة كأس خادم الحرمين الشريفين.
ولعب هذا الموسم مع الأهلي 14 مباراة بجميع المسابقات، بمجموع 284 دقيقة،سجل هدفاً واحداً، كما تم اختياره مع منتخبنا الوطني تحت 21 سنة في بطولة كأس اتحاد غرب آسيا التي أقيمت في شهر مارس عام 2024، هذا وقد تفاعلت الجماهير الهلالية عبر مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي بعد التوقيع مع هذه الموهبة الكروية القادمة لعالم كرة القدم، وثمنت الجهود الكبيرة التي بذلت من قبل الإدارة الهلالية لكسب خدمات هذا اللاعب.
