أعلن النادي الأهلي تعاقده رسمياً مع لاعب الوسط الأرميني إدوارد سبيرتسيان، بعقد يمتد لأربعة مواسم حتى عام 2030، مع أفضلية التمديد لموسم خامس، وذلك ضمن خطة النادي لتدعيم صفوف الفريق الأول لكرة القدم استعداداً للموسم الرياضي الجديد.
ويعد سبيرتسيان، البالغ من العمر 26 عاماً، أحد أبرز لاعبي خط الوسط في الدوري الروسي، إذ تألق مع فريق كراسنودار خلال المواسم الماضية، وبرز بقدراته في صناعة اللعب والتسجيل، إلى جانب امتلاكه خبرة دولية مع منتخب أرمينيا، ما جعله هدفاً لعدد من الأندية الأوروبية قبل أن ينجح الأهلي في حسم التعاقد معه.
ويأتي التعاقد مع اللاعب الأرميني في إطار إستراتيجية الأهلي الرامية إلى تعزيز جودة عناصر الفريق، ودعم خيارات الجهاز الفني بقيادة الألماني ماتياس يايسله، قبل خوض منافسات الموسم القادم الذي يشهد مشاركة الفريق في عدد من الاستحقاقات المحلية والقارية، يتقدمها دوري روشن السعودي، وكأس خادم الحرمين الشريفين، وكأس السوبر السعودي، إضافة إلى دوري أبطال آسيا للنخبة، وكأس القارات.
ومن المنتظر أن ينضم سبيرتسيان إلى معسكر الأهلي الإعدادي خلال الأسبوع القادم، تمهيداً لبدء برنامجه التحضيري مع الفريق، استعداداً لخوض أولى مبارياته بالقميص الأهلاوي مع انطلاق الموسم الجديد.
The Al-Ahli Club officially announced its contract with Armenian midfielder Edward Spiritsian, with a contract extending for four seasons until 2030, with an option to extend for a fifth season. This is part of the club's plan to strengthen the first football team in preparation for the new sports season.
Spiritsian, who is 26 years old, is considered one of the top midfield players in the Russian league, having excelled with Krasnodar in recent seasons. He has stood out for his playmaking and scoring abilities, in addition to having international experience with the Armenian national team, which made him a target for several European clubs before Al-Ahli succeeded in securing his contract.
The signing of the Armenian player is part of Al-Ahli's strategy aimed at enhancing the quality of the team's elements and supporting the options of the coaching staff led by German Matthias Jaissle, before entering the competitions of the upcoming season, which will see the team participating in several local and continental tournaments, led by the Roshan Saudi League, the King’s Cup, the Saudi Super Cup, in addition to the AFC Champions League and the Confederations Cup.
Spiritsian is expected to join Al-Ahli's training camp during the upcoming week, in preparation for starting his training program with the team, ahead of playing his first matches in the Al-Ahli jersey at the beginning of the new season.
