حالت عاصفة رعدية في أتلانتا بالولايات المتحدة دون استمرار تدريبات منتخب مصر بقيادة المدير الفني للمنتخب حسام حسن، استعداداً لمواجهة منتخب الأرجنتين في السابعة من مساء الثلاثاء بتوقيت القاهرة ضمن مباريات دور الـ16 لبطولة كأس العالم 2026.
واكتفى منتخب «الفراعنة» بالتدريب لأقل من ساعة فقط، فيما قرر الجهاز الفني استكمال تدريب اللاعبين في صالة الألعاب الرياضية الخاصة بفندق إقامتهم في أتلانتا. وكان المنتخب المصري قد تأهل لدور ثمن النهائي بعد فوزه على منتخب أستراليا بركلات الترجيح 4-2، في دور الـ32.
وسيرتدي منتخب مصر القميص الأحمر، و«الشورت» والجوارب السوداء، بينما يظهر منتخب الأرجنتين بالزي التقليدي الأبيض والأزرق في المواجهة التي ستجمع المنتخبين، فيما تقرر أن يقود الحكم الفرنسي فرانسو ليتكسييه مواجهة المنتخبين، ويساعده كل من سيريل مونييه، ومهدي رحموني، والنرويجي إسبن إسكوس حكماً رابعاً، ومواطنه إسحاق باشيفكين حكماً مساعداً احتياطياً.
A thunderstorm in Atlanta, United States, prevented the Egyptian national team, led by head coach Hossam Hassan, from continuing their training in preparation for the match against the Argentine national team at 7 PM Cairo time on Tuesday, as part of the Round of 16 of the 2026 World Cup.
The "Pharaohs" team managed to train for less than an hour only, while the coaching staff decided to continue training the players in the gym of their hotel in Atlanta. The Egyptian team had qualified for the Round of 16 after defeating the Australian team in a penalty shootout 4-2 in the Round of 32.
Egypt will wear the red jersey, along with black shorts and socks, while Argentina will appear in their traditional white and blue kit in the match that will bring the two teams together. It has been decided that French referee François Letexier will officiate the match, assisted by Cyril Munier, Mehdi Rahmouni, with Norwegian Espen Eskås as the fourth official, and his compatriot Isaac Bashivkin as the reserve assistant referee.
