انتُخب رئيس الاتحاد السعودي لكرة اليد حسن نصر هلال رئيساً للاتحاد العربي لكرة اليد بالتزكية لمدة أربع سنوات، وذلك خلال أعمال الجمعية العمومية غير العادية التي عُقدت اليوم في جدة بمشاركة ممثلي الاتحادات العربية الأعضاء.
وجرى اعتماد انتخاب هلال لقيادة الاتحاد العربي للدورة القادمة، في خطوة تعكس الثقة التي يحظى بها من الاتحادات العربية الأعضاء، وتقديراً لدور المملكة في خدمة كرة اليد على المستوى العربي والدولي.
وأعرب هلال عن اعتزازه بهذه الثقة، مؤكداً أن المرحلة القادمة ستشهد العمل مع الاتحادات العربية على تعزيز التعاون المشترك وتطوير برامج ومسابقات الاتحاد بما يخدم تطلعات كرة اليد العربية.
وأشار إلى أن المسؤولية الجديدة تمثل حافزاً لبذل المزيد من الجهود من أجل دعم مسيرة اللعبة وتوسيع نطاق انتشارها، إلى جانب الارتقاء بمستوى المنافسات والمنتخبات العربية في مختلف المحافل.
ويشغل هلال حالياً منصب رئيس الاتحاد السعودي لكرة اليد، إلى جانب عضويته في الاتحاد الآسيوي لكرة اليد، ويُعد من الكفاءات الإدارية الشابة. ويأتي انتخاب هلال ليواصل منح المملكة حضوراً إدارياً على مستوى الاتحادات الرياضية العربية.
The President of the Saudi Handball Federation, Hassan Nasr Hilal, was elected as the President of the Arab Handball Federation by acclamation for a period of four years during the extraordinary general assembly held today in Jeddah, with the participation of representatives from the member Arab federations.
Hilal's election to lead the Arab Federation for the upcoming term was approved, reflecting the trust he enjoys from the member Arab federations and in recognition of the Kingdom's role in serving handball at both the Arab and international levels.
Hilal expressed his pride in this trust, confirming that the upcoming phase will witness collaboration with the Arab federations to enhance joint cooperation and develop the federation's programs and competitions to meet the aspirations of Arab handball.
He pointed out that the new responsibility serves as an incentive to exert more efforts to support the game's development and expand its reach, as well as to elevate the level of competitions and Arab teams in various arenas.
Hilal currently holds the position of President of the Saudi Handball Federation, in addition to being a member of the Asian Handball Federation, and is considered one of the young administrative talents. His election comes as a continuation of the Kingdom's administrative presence at the level of Arab sports federations.
