اختتم الاتحاد السعودي للملاكمة، مساء السبت، في مدينة الرياض منافسات النسخة الأولى من بطولة حزام المملكة للملاكمة، التي تمثل نهائيات 3 مناطق رئيسة على مستوى المملكة، في خطوة تعكس التوسع المتسارع لرياضة الملاكمة السعودية وتنامي قاعدة ممارسيها.
وأقيمت منافسات بطولة حزام المملكة، التي تم خلالها تتويج 56 بطلاً بأحزمتهم التي حصلوا عليها بعد منافسات امتدت طوال أربعة أيام، عبر ثلاث فئات عمرية شملت فئة البراعم (13 – 14 سنة)، وفئة الناشئين (15 – 16 سنة)، وفئة الشباب (17 – 18 سنة)، إذ شهدت النزالات مستويات فنية مميزة ومنافسات قوية بين الأندية، عكست حجم التطور الذي تشهده اللعبة على المستوى الفني والتنظيمي.
وتوّج عضو مجلس إدارة الاتحاد السعودي للملاكمة ماجد الغرابي، في ختام المنافسات، الأندية الفائزة بالمراكز الأولى في الترتيب العام، بعد منافسة قوية بين الأندية المشاركة؛ إذ حقق نادي النصر المركز الأول، وجاء نادي مايك تايسون في المركز الثاني، فيما حلّ نادي «كيك أوف» في المركز الثالث.
وتزامنت إقامة البطولة مع الإعلان الرسمي عن الشعار الجديد للاتحاد السعودي للملاكمة، مما يعكس مرحلة تطويرية جديدة لتعزيز هوية الاتحاد وترسيخ حضوره محلياً ودولياً.
وأكد الاتحاد السعودي للملاكمة، أن تنظيم هذه البطولة يأتي ضمن خططه الإستراتيجية لاكتشاف المواهب الواعدة، وتوسيع قاعدة الممارسين، وتعزيز مشاركة الفئات السنية المختلفة، لإعداد جيل رياضي منافس يمثل المملكة في المحافل الإقليمية والدولية.
The Saudi Boxing Federation concluded, on Saturday evening, in Riyadh, the competitions of the first edition of the Kingdom's Belt Championship in boxing, which represents the finals of three main regions across the Kingdom. This step reflects the rapid expansion of Saudi boxing and the growing base of its practitioners.
The Kingdom's Belt Championship featured the crowning of 56 champions with their belts, which they earned after competitions that lasted for four days, across three age categories: the junior category (13 – 14 years), the youth category (15 – 16 years), and the young adults category (17 – 18 years). The bouts showcased exceptional technical levels and strong competitions among the clubs, reflecting the significant development the sport is experiencing in both technical and organizational aspects.
At the conclusion of the competitions, Majid Al-Gharabi, a member of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Boxing Federation, awarded the clubs that secured the top positions in the overall ranking after a fierce competition among the participating clubs. Al-Nasr Club achieved first place, while Mike Tyson Club came in second, and "Kick Off" Club placed third.
The championship coincided with the official announcement of the new logo for the Saudi Boxing Federation, reflecting a new developmental phase aimed at enhancing the federation's identity and solidifying its presence locally and internationally.
The Saudi Boxing Federation confirmed that organizing this championship is part of its strategic plans to discover promising talents, expand the base of practitioners, and enhance the participation of various age groups, in order to prepare a competitive sports generation that represents the Kingdom in regional and international forums.
