دشَّن المنتخب الوطني الأول لكرة القدم عصر اليوم (الخميس) معسكره الإعدادي في جدة، استعداداً لخوض منافسات الملحق الآسيوي المؤهل إلى نهائيات كأس العالم 2026.
وانتظم جميع اللاعبين في مقر المعسكر، فيما سيلتحق الثلاثي سعود عبدالحميد، ومروان الصحفي، ومهند آل سعد بالمعسكر بعد فراغهم من ارتباطاتهم مع أنديتهم؛ حيث ينضم سعود عبدالحميد ومروان الصحفي يوم 5 أكتوبر، على أن يلتحق مهند آل سعد يوم 6 أكتوبر، بالتزامن مع انطلاق أيام FIFA.
وسيخوض الأخضر خلال الملحق الآسيوي مباراتين؛ حيث يلتقي في المواجهة الأولى منتخب إندونيسيا يوم 8 أكتوبر الجاري، فيما يواجه في المباراة الثانية منتخب العراق يوم 14 من الشهر نفسه، وستقام المباراتان على ملعب مدينة الملك عبدالله الرياضية بجدة.
ميدانياً، أجرى لاعبو المنتخب الوطني مساء اليوم حصتهم التدريبية الأولى على الملعب الرديف بمدينة الملك عبدالله الرياضية تحت إشراف المدير الفني إيرفي رينارد ، بدأت الحصة بتمارين الإحماء، ثم تمرين التمرير، قبل أن تُجرى مباريات مصغرة، لتختتم الحصة بتمارين الإطالة.
وعلى صعيد متصل، لم يشارك اللاعب حسان التمبكتي في الحصة التدريبية بسبب تعرضه لنزلة برد، فيما اكتفى اللاعب محمد سليمان ببرنامج علاجي برفقة الجهاز الطبي، بسبب الإصابة التي تعرض لها في مشاركته الأخيرة مع ناديه.
ويواصل المنتخب الوطني برنامجه الإعدادي مساء غدٍ (الجمعة) بحصة تدريبية مسائية على الملعب الرديف بمدينة الملك عبدالله الرياضية عند الساعة السابعة مساءً، وستكون مفتوحة لوسائل الإعلام خلال أول ربع ساعة.

The national first football team launched its training camp this afternoon (Thursday) in Jeddah, in preparation for the Asian playoff matches qualifying for the 2026 World Cup.
All players have joined the camp, while the trio Saud Abdulhamid, Marwan Al-Sahafi, and Mohannad Al-Saad will join the camp after completing their commitments with their clubs; Saud Abdulhamid and Marwan Al-Sahafi will join on October 5, while Mohannad Al-Saad will join on October 6, coinciding with the start of FIFA days.
The Green will play two matches during the Asian playoff; they will face the Indonesian team in the first match on October 8, and in the second match, they will face the Iraqi team on the 14th of the same month. Both matches will be held at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah.
On the field, the national team players conducted their first training session this evening at the training ground of King Abdullah Sports City under the supervision of head coach Hervé Renard. The session began with warm-up exercises, followed by passing drills, before small-sided games were held, concluding with stretching exercises.
In related news, player Hassan Al-Tambakti did not participate in the training session due to a cold, while player Mohammed Suleiman was limited to a treatment program with the medical staff due to an injury he sustained in his last participation with his club.
The national team will continue its training program tomorrow evening (Friday) with an evening training session at the training ground of King Abdullah Sports City at 7 PM, which will be open to the media during the first fifteen minutes.
