واصل مانشستر سيتي نزيف النقاط في مسابقة الدوري الإنجليزي (بريميرليغ)، بعدما اكتفى بالتعادل الثالث على التوالي أمام ضيفه برايتون بهدف لمثله، في المباراة التي أُقيمت أمس (الأربعاء) على ملعب «الاتحاد»، ضمن منافسات الجولة الـ21.
وأنهى مانشستر سيتي الشوط الأول متقدماً بهدف دون رد، سجله المهاجم النرويجي إيرلينغ هالاند من ركلة جزاء، سددها بنجاح على يسار حارس برايتون.
وفي الشوط الثاني، تمكن الياباني كاورو ميتوما من إدراك التعادل لبرايتون، بعد تسديدة أرضية قوية من على حدود منطقة الجزاء، سكنت الزاوية اليسرى لمرمى حارس مانشستر سيتي.
ترتيب الفريقين
بهذه النتيجة، رفع مانشستر سيتي رصيده إلى 43 نقطة في المركز الثاني بجدول ترتيب البريميرليغ، متأخراً بفارق خمس نقاط عن أرسنال المتصدر، الذي يخوض اختباراً صعباً أمام ليفربول، اليوم (الخميس)، ضمن منافسات الجولة ذاتها.
في المقابل، رفع برايتون رصيده إلى 29 نقطة في المركز الـ11، محققاً تعادله الثامن هذا الموسم.
