وبهذه النتيجة يحقق برشلونة فوزه الرابع ويصل للنقطة 13 في المركز الثاني خلف المتصدر ريال مدريد بفارق نقطتين، وسيلاقي برشلونة في الجولة القادمة مضيفه ريال أوفييدو صاحب المركز الـ17 برصيد 3 نقاط.
فيما تلقى خيتافي الخسارة الثانية وتجمد رصيده عند 9 نقاط في المركز الثامن، وسيواجه في الجولة القادمة ضيفه ألافيس صاحب المركز العاشر برصيد 7 نقاط.
