جمّد داني سيبايوس، لاعب وسط ريال مدريد الإسباني، مفاوضات انتقاله إلى نادي أولمبيك مارسيليا الفرنسي خلال فترة الانتقالات الصيفية الجارية.
وبحسب صحيفة «آس» الإسبانية، فإن سيبايوس قرر وقف المفاوضات رغم التوصل إلى اتفاق شبه كامل مع النادي الفرنسي، مفضلاً البقاء مؤقتاً في مدريد بانتظار عروض أكثر جاذبية.
وأضافت الصحيفة أنه حتى ظهر الثلاثاء، كانت الصفقة قريبة من الاكتمال، بعد اتفاق بين ريال مدريد ومارسيليا، إلا أن اللاعب غيّر موقفه في اللحظات الأخيرة، ورفض الانتقال إلى الدوري الفرنسي، ما أدى إلى انهيار الصفقة.
وأوضحت أن عرض مارسيليا تضمن استعارة اللاعب مع بند شراء إلزامي في صيف العام القادم مقابل 1.1 مليون يورو، إضافة إلى 4 ملايين يورو كمتغيرات، وهو العرض الذي وافق عليه ريال مدريد، رغم تمسكه في البداية بمبلغ 15 مليون يورو كقيمة بيع، إلا أن قرار سيبايوس حال دون إتمام الاتفاق.
وأشارت الصحيفة إلى أن اللاعب يسعى لحجز مكان له في تشكيلة المدرب تشابي ألونسو خلال الفترة القادمة، مع احتمالية عودته إلى ناديه السابق ريال بيتيس، خصوصاً في ظل تعثر مفاوضات الأخير مع مانشستر يونايتد لضم البرازيلي أنتوني، بسبب عدم التوصل إلى اتفاق مالي حتى الآن.
Dani Ceballos, the midfielder of Spanish club Real Madrid, has frozen negotiations for his transfer to French club Olympique Marseille during the ongoing summer transfer window.
According to the Spanish newspaper "AS," Ceballos decided to halt negotiations despite reaching a near-complete agreement with the French club, preferring to temporarily stay in Madrid while waiting for more attractive offers.
The newspaper added that until Tuesday afternoon, the deal was close to completion, following an agreement between Real Madrid and Marseille. However, the player changed his stance at the last moment and rejected the move to Ligue 1, leading to the collapse of the deal.
It clarified that Marseille's offer included a loan for the player with a mandatory purchase clause next summer for €1.1 million, in addition to €4 million in variables. This offer was accepted by Real Madrid, despite initially insisting on a selling price of €15 million, but Ceballos's decision prevented the agreement from being finalized.
The newspaper noted that the player is seeking to secure a place in coach Xabi Alonso's lineup in the upcoming period, with the possibility of returning to his former club Real Betis, especially given the stalled negotiations between the latter and Manchester United for the Brazilian Antony, due to the lack of a financial agreement so far.
