The Yemeni armed forces launched a series of airstrikes targeting positions, reinforcements, and weapon storage belonging to the Houthi militias in the provinces of Taiz, Sana'a, and Ibb.
Field sources confirmed that the strikes in Taiz targeted mobilizations in Dhahban, Hayjat al-Abd, Haifan, Akmat Habish, and Al-Dabab, in addition to sites in Al-Arsoum, Al-Maraziqan, Mount Al-Mun'im, Tabbat Al-Khalwa, Al-Sittin Street, and the Central Security Camp.
In Sana'a, the airstrikes targeted a barracks near the airport and a missile storage facility in Hamdan, while fortifications and a missile launch platform in the Al-Sayani area of Ibb province were also hit.
The armed forces carried out 1,732 air and artillery strikes as part of Operation "Fajr Yemen," targeting defensive positions, command and control centers, weapon and ammunition storage, and military vehicles belonging to the Houthi militias.
It was clarified in a statement that the operations resulted in neutralizing more than 900 militia members and destroying or disabling 287 military vehicles and equipment, in addition to targeting high-value military sites deep in enemy territory, and cutting off reinforcements and supplies in conjunction with field advances and breaching the Houthis' defensive fortifications.
Military and political developments continue in Yemen, as the war takes a more decisive turn, with the expansion of military operations and the shift of the battle from containing Houthi capabilities to targeting the core of their strength and their deployment sites. While the legitimate forces announced the recovery of strategic locations, the Coalition to Support Legitimacy continued to strike missile launch platforms and their storage facilities. The President of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council, Rashad Al-Alimi, announced the launch of the military operation "Fajr Yemen," aimed at restoring state institutions, liberating the capital Sana'a, and ending the "Houthi militia coup" supported by Iran.
