اتفاق دفاعي وتعاون عسكري بين الكويت وباكستان

The Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense signed a defense and military cooperation agreement today with its Pakistani counterpart.

The agreement was signed in the capital (Islamabad) during an official visit, by the Kuwaiti side represented by Minister of Defense Sheikh Abdullah Al-Sabah, and by the Pakistani side represented by Minister of Defense Khawaja Muhammad Asif, in the presence of the Chief of General Staff of the Army, Lieutenant General Khalid Darraj Saad Al-Sharrian, and the Kuwaiti Ambassador to Pakistan Nasar Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi.

Support for Security and Stability

The meeting reviewed Kuwaiti-Pakistani relations and discussed prospects for close cooperation in the military and defense fields, as well as the latest regional and international developments and issues of mutual interest, and the efforts being made towards them to support security and stability in the region. The Ministry of Defense stated: "The signing of this agreement is an important milestone in the journey of military and defense cooperation between the two countries, as it represents a supportive framework for enhancing operational coordination, exchanging experiences, and raising the level of readiness and integration among the armed forces.
