أعلن الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب اليوم (الثلاثاء)، إزالة وتفجير جميع الألغام داخل المياه الدولية في مضيق هرمز، مهدداً بتدمير أي قارب أو سفينة إيرانية تزرع الألغام.
وكتب ترمب على منصته «تروث سيشال»: أبلغتني للتو البحرية الأمريكية بأنه تم إزالة أو تفجير جميع الألغام من داخل المياه الدولية في مضيق هرمز، موضحاً أنه تم إبلاغ إيران بأن أي سفينة أو قارب يقوم بزرع ألغام جديدة سيتم تدميره فوراً وبشكل منهجي.
وأشار إلى أن قوة الفضاء الأمريكية، تراقب كل شبر من المضيق، كما تراقب أيضاً «جبل بيك آكس» والمواقع النووية الثلاثة الأخرى التي تم تدميرها بالفعل.
وأضاف: «سياسة عدم التسامح مطلقاً مع زرع الألغام مطبقة وبكامل قوتها وفاعليتها».
في المقابل، نقلت وكالة «تسنيم» الإيرانية عن مصدر وصفته بـ«المقرب» من فريق التفاوض الإيراني قوله: إن طهران أبلغت قائد الجيش الباكستاني عاصم منير شروطها بشأن مضيق هرمز.
وأوضح المصدر أن منير سعى خلال زيارته لطهران إلى تهيئة الأجواء لاستئناف المفاوضات، ونقل شروط إيران ومواقفها بشأن مضيق هرمز إلى الجانب الأمريكي، مبيناً أن طهران أوضحت مواقفها بشكل صريح للجانب الباكستاني خلال الاجتماعات.
وأضاف المصدر: «عودة الولايات المتحدة إلى مذكرة إسلام آباد وتنفيذ بنودها، بما في ذلك البند الخامس المتعلق بالترتيبات الإيرانية في مضيق هرمز، تمثل أحد شروط طهران».
ولفت إلى أن هذه الشروط نُقلت عبر الوسيط الباكستاني، الذي يسعى لإيصالها إلى الجانب الأمريكي.
بدوره، قال الرئيس الإيراني مسعود بزشكيان: إنهاء الحرب والحفاظ على الوحدة من أولويات حكومتي، مضيفاً: لم يكن توقيع مذكرة التفاهم ناجماً عن الخوف أو الاستسلام بل جاء استناداً إلى المنطق والوعي.
U.S. President Donald Trump announced today (Tuesday) the removal and detonation of all mines within international waters in the Strait of Hormuz, threatening to destroy any Iranian boat or ship that plants mines.
Trump wrote on his platform "Truth Social": "I was just informed by the U.S. Navy that all mines have been removed or detonated from within international waters in the Strait of Hormuz," explaining that Iran has been informed that any ship or boat that plants new mines will be systematically destroyed immediately.
He noted that the U.S. Space Force is monitoring every inch of the strait, as well as "Mount Peak Axe" and the three other nuclear sites that have already been destroyed.
He added: "The policy of zero tolerance for mine planting is in full force and effect."
In contrast, the Iranian news agency "Tasnim" quoted a source described as "close" to the Iranian negotiating team, stating that Tehran has informed the Pakistani army chief, Asim Munir, of its conditions regarding the Strait of Hormuz.
The source clarified that Munir sought during his visit to Tehran to create an atmosphere for the resumption of negotiations and to convey Iran's conditions and positions regarding the Strait of Hormuz to the U.S. side, indicating that Tehran clearly stated its positions to the Pakistani side during the meetings.
The source added: "The return of the United States to the Islamabad memorandum and the implementation of its clauses, including the fifth clause related to Iranian arrangements in the Strait of Hormuz, represents one of Tehran's conditions."
It was noted that these conditions were conveyed through the Pakistani mediator, who is working to deliver them to the U.S. side.
For his part, Iranian President Masoud Bezhakian stated: "Ending the war and maintaining unity are priorities for my government," adding: "The signing of the memorandum of understanding was not due to fear or surrender, but was based on logic and awareness."
