نفى مصدر سعودي مسؤول لقناتَي «العربية» و«الحدث» وجود أي محادثات مع المليشيا الحوثية في مسقط أو عبر أي وسيط.
وكذّب المصدر ما تناولته وسائل إعلام غربية، آخرها وكالة «بلومبيرغ»، التي أفادت بأن المملكة تجري محادثات برعاية سلطنة عمان مع الحوثيين في العاصمة مسقط لاحتواء التوترات الأخيرة، وخصوصاً في البحر الأحمر.
وأدانت الرياض -بأشد العبارات- ما تطرّق إليه ما يسمى المتحدث العسكري التابع لمليشيا الحوثي الإرهابية من ادعاءات بخصوص حصار الشعب اليمني الشقيق، وحظر الملاحة البحرية على المملكة.
وشددت السعودية على أن السلام في اليمن لن يتحقق عبر الشعارات أو بالمراوغة السياسية، بل عبر الإرادة الصادقة التي تضع مصلحة اليمن وشعبه فوق كل اعتبار، وتنبذ العنف والتبعية والأجندات الخارجية التي أطالت أمد الصراع وفاقمت معاناة الملايين.
A responsible Saudi source denied to the channels "Al Arabiya" and "Al Hadath" the existence of any talks with the Houthi militia in Muscat or through any intermediary.
The source refuted what was reported by Western media, the latest being the "Bloomberg" agency, which stated that the Kingdom is conducting talks under the auspices of the Sultanate of Oman with the Houthis in the capital Muscat to contain the recent tensions, especially in the Red Sea.
Riyadh condemned - in the strongest terms - the claims made by the so-called military spokesperson for the terrorist Houthi militia regarding the siege of the brotherly Yemeni people and the ban on maritime navigation in the Kingdom.
Saudi Arabia emphasized that peace in Yemen will not be achieved through slogans or political maneuvering, but through genuine will that places the interests of Yemen and its people above all else, and rejects violence, dependency, and foreign agendas that have prolonged the conflict and exacerbated the suffering of millions.
